Sarah Palin 'Bridge To Nowhere' Video Montage

Sarah Palin's stump speeches have largely stuck to the same script (what the AP describes as "a greatest hits of her convention speech). However, one line that constantly shows up is that Palin said "thanks, but no thanks, to that 'bridge to nowhere.'" Palin's claim of opposing the 'bridge to nowhere' has proven to be a stretch, yet she keeps repeating the same line. Watch Palin use this exact line in seven different stump speeches since the end of the Republican Convention.

Thanks for being an excellent mother. And thanks for vetoing the homeless shelter for pregnant women. It's not the goverment's job to take care of the homeless. Nor is it the government's job to take care of women who do not have enough common sense to not get pregnant if they can't properly take care of their children.

In the beginning of the Democratic primary , Karl Rove and others publicly welcomed her nomination, stating that it would galvanize the

the long simmering hatred of the right wing faction. This was illustrated in a meeting McCain had with his followers when Senator Clinton was leading in the polls . A woman in the crowd asked "how do we beat the bitch.?" This prompted a big laugh from the crowd and an approving smile from candidate McCain. Obama's campaign should show this film clip in its ads in response to the cynical pandering to Clinton's supporters by McCain and Palin. In view of this history, it disgusts me to hear Palin praise Senator Hilton for making "18 million dents on the glass ceiling."
