I have been looking forward to this latest McCain ad, "Fact Check," ever since word of its imminent arrival crossed my desk. All I can say is, IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. It is uniquely, blissfully, breathtakingly stupid and it pretty much gave me seizures of laughter. This is the video that gave Kim Jong Il his stroke. The ad makes a feint at providing some sort of substantive comment, but it doesn't matter, because all anyone will be saying after they see this ad is, "OMG OMG TEH WOLVEZ ARE COMING BY SEAPLANE! CALL UP THE AERIAL HUNTERS!"

[WATCH. THIS IS NUTLOG.]

Opposition background checks are being done on each and every one of us, via systematic surveillence and monitoring of calls and emails. Why should Sarah Palin be any different?

Opposition background checks have been routine for many many years in our election process like them or not and it's done by both sides..!

Wow. Why didn't he have little orcs and such riding on the wolves? Waving swords and clubs?
It would have at least been thematically aligned with whatever fantasy world McLupine lives in.

I honestly wasn't sure if this was meant to be sardonic, but OMG it's an authentic campaign ad? ROFL!! The McCain campaign are losing it.

Isn't it ironic that in using the wolf in this ad, the McCain camp is drawing attention to the Palin track record of trying to destroy this beautiful animal. I find it also ironic that wolves are very nurturing to their young unlike other canine species. Canis pitbullis comes to mind....

I can't believe John McCain, a man I respect, would intentionally parade out "Black Wolves attacking a White woman". Coupled with the new "Barack Obama, child predator" ad, it's disgusting. Praying on irrational fears of Black men being a threat to our women and children - have we really fallen this far as a nation??? John McCain is a man of honor, and not a fear monger willing to do anything to get elected. Even though both of these ads close with the obligatory "I approve this message", he certainly can"t approve. Would he lose a nation to win an election? I think not. He needs to do the honorable thing and pull the ads. This election needs to be about who is prepared to lead, not about who is prepared to lead us into the gutter of our worst possible ingrained fears and the racist divisions of a generation ago. I have been disheartened by the ridicule and mocking of community service coming out of his campaign, while at the same time Senator McCain"s acceptance speech was calling us all to service. But this, this should not stand. Please, please, Senator McCain - restore my faith in you. Please do the right thing, the honorable thing, and get your campaign back on message.

Actually, this makes Obama look good. OBAMA-THE-WOLF is not bad imaging in a presidential campaign.

Oh and please tell McCain to STOP hiding behind Sarah's skirt tail. It does not look manly.

Bush"s Wolves are Running McCains Campaign and here is the PROOF

McCain is recycling Bush's 2004 political ads - YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNoUbfTtI3g
it"s literally the same Ad with the Wolves putting McCain"s name instead of Bush = McBush

Same as Bush" Same tactics, Same people running his campaign, Same old thing !

I guess Al Gore was right when he said they're into "Recycling"

The aerial shooting of wolves as supported by Palin is atrocious. This video is very powerful:

Does Factcheck.org demand McCain campaign to withdraw the misleading ad? Or they just say it in their paper but let the ad goes on to mislead voters? if this is the case then factcheck will lose its credibility too.
"HAVE YOU HEARD McCAIN-PALIN LIE LATELY? Vote for: AFFORDABLE HEALTH INSURANCE, WOMEN'S CHOICE, VETS BENEFITS, EQUAL PAY".

Can we please have an ad featuring somebody shooting wolves out of a plane - which Palin supports - with a voice over narrative about how McCain/Palin want to destroy our rights. Please, Obama campaign, can you PLEASE DO SOMETHING!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 06:17 PM on 09/10/2008

Your stupid if you think an add like that would hurt McCain/Palin. Most people who live in remote/rural areas are in favor of controlling the wolf population because wolves kill livestock and are dangerous to humans as well. But it doesn't appear that you own any livestock or know anybody that does. If you did you'd be in favor of it too.

that's right. i forgot that we need to pander to the livestock-owning bloc of the electorate.
just sit right there while I bring you your meds.

Realy? Cry me a F'n river. Obama has taken this crap as long as Palin has been governor of a state with fewer people than most American cities (670,000 if you care). This endless BS is starting to piss me off. I'm about ready to quit my job and by a truck with a bull-horn

Hey bryan you told me to relax the other day and said the sky wasn't falling. Well Obama just spent the whole day explaining is lipsick comments and didn't spend anytime attackin or "defining" McCain. This thing is falling apart fast and if you don't see that then you haven't been around too many political campaigns.....get out of your bubble man!

He both attacked and defined McCain today...seriously.

yeah, but he kicked ass on Letterman, and turned the whole thing back in front of an audience who was very receptive. he came off as funny, relaxed, in control, was willing to poke fun at himself while he mercilessly rolled the GOP ticket
