What's Your Reaction?
Sexism

Politico:

Well, she said she wouldn't attack Sarah Palin.

Hillary Clinton, played it cool when pelted with questions asked about Sarah Palin on Capitol Hill today -- deflecting her attacks to John McCain (as she promised to do) on his opposition to equal pay legislation.

Sexism anywhere is not a "distraction" but a problem. Who would call Murdoch a sexist? Let me think...ME. He is representative of a big media bias, ie. sexism. Sen. Clinton did not and has never said that Sen. Obama is sexist. She simply implied what some of us already know, the media IS sexist. Why does this topic stir such anger? Guess...

Who wrote this headline? Jayson Blair??

She never said anything that could be interpreted as "revealing bitterness".

And, I find it interested that almost all of the stories about the supposed Clinton-Obama rift seem to come from either Politico or NY Post or WSJ. Stop trying to stir the non-existent pot! This election is not about Hillary Clinton or whether she is bitter or not about Obama. Stop trying to distract everyone from the issues!

FAKE HILLARY SUPPORTERS or HOW THE REPUBS CAUSED A MEDIA STIR WHICH DOES NOT EXIST

Here's my thesis, many but not all of the people who claim to be Hillary supporters who are not going to vote for Barak but are planning to vote for Sarah and John are frauds. To quote one comment, "If your (sic) leaving the Democratic party just because Hillary was not the nominee and choosing Palin, then you are cutting off your nose to spite your face."

Amen! I know several people who voted for Hillary and none of them would even consider voting for Palin and McCain to do that would betray everything Hillary and the Democratic Party has stood for over the past 100 years -- which includes the Federal Reserve, child labor laws, the minimum wage, social security, suffrage for women, the clean air act, the voting rights act of 1964, choice, etc etc etc And any self proclaimed Hillary supporters who would throw all that away for a cute face and a short skirt are not genuine. They are undoubtedly Republicans who wish to cause as much division as possible within the Democratic Party and the American voter.

They lie and everyone knows it. It's just time to strip off their mask and reveal them for what they are: people either filled with so much hate they would bash their mom if she voted Democratic; or people so unaware of their selves that causing trouble makes them feel alive. All extreme.

Uh, there are no "fake" HRC supporters or the polls wouldn't be where they are. The Democratic party already betrayed itself by nominating the wrong candidate through a wrong process for the wrong reasons. You're trying to simplify a very complex problem that festered for nearly 6 months. Most HRC supporters aren't voting FOR Palin - they're voting against the Democratic ticket - they'd already made their choice by May 31st, June 6th or August 26th depending on their outrage level.

Also many Clinton supporters are moderates, not progressives. Their voting for a moderate Republican, not his VP pick. Lastly, after what happened in the primaries, many HRC supporters will not tolerate ANY woman, regardless of party, being treated in the sexist way HRC was treated. Yet, true to form, the Obama campaign, the media and the blogosphere launched into sexist attacks on Palin and her family within the first 48 hours.

That did this party no favors, it only made it seem even more repulsive to HRC supporters. I suspect, they won't be coming back, not this year anyway.

If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem, Hillary.
