I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Elisabeth Michelle

"The View" co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the show's token conservative and an ardent supporter of John McCain, appeared at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul last week and spoke at an event honoring Cindy McCain. Given that "The View" is a necessary destination for the candidates and their wives this year, Hasselbeck felt qualified to explain the difference between Cindy McCain and Michelle Obama, though she avoided singling Obama out by name:

"Cindy came into our hair and makeup room, fresh as can be, and unlike another wife of a political candidate who shall remain nameless, she didn't come with a list of topics that we weren't allowed to touch. Nope, that's because she has nothing to hide."

There is a reason lizzy couldn't grab the star quarterback and had to settle for the flash in the pan back up. Its because she is a nasty b*tch who is selfish greedy and scared in life. I would never let that heinous woman ever be around children she is worse poison that the Lord of Lies himself.

Dangit. I really liked her when she was on Survivor. Guess once she got off the island her true colors came out.

I don't mind Cindy McCain...at least she looks at poverty and tries to help with an adoption...but Hasselbeck? Are you kidding. She is typical of every extreme right-wing, fake blonde; three chins, crass jewellry and using her mouth for everything....including ridiculing a black Ivy League female that has more class and brains in her pinky.
Time for another nip and tuck, Elisabeth...your name is far too long for such a small cerebrum, and Whoopi is looking so much more "sexy".

Small cerebrum, small minded.

Instead of worrying about plastic surgery for the perfect Barbie face, try a Lobotomy, do the World a favor.

Jeesh!

HOW COME ELIZABETH WAS NEVER CALLED OU BY THE PRODUCERS AND HER CO-HOSTS ON THIS?
I GUESS THE BLONDE ( BOTTLED AS IT MAY BE) PRINCESS (AND I DO NOT MEAN B WALTERS) HAS MOST POWER IN THAT SHOW.

You can just believe that Cindy had some agreement not to talk about being a home wrecker (she was married to John right when his divorce paper ink was barely dry). That means she was messing around with a married man and became the "other woman". I'm sure it was agreed not to talk about how she stole pills to feed her "habit". I'm sure she also made it clear that she wasn't going to discuss her finances since she refuses to turn over her tax info. I'm sure she didn't want to discuss how Bush trashed her husband just 8 years ago and now how she feels about her husband doing the same sleezy, lying, deceptive things that Bush did. I'm sure Cindy didn't want to talk about how John's children from his first marriage feel about how he left their mother when she was down and out after being in a car accident. He was loyal to the Navy and his comrads in Viet Nam, but couldn't be loyal to the wife who waited for him to return? Elizabeth's snide comment is totally transparent and childish. She knows people are curious about the questions I posed, but they weren't posed on the View. I wonder why? Some of these things are issues people face every day and are curious to know how she feels about them. She has a right to privacy, but then so does the "Candidate's wife who we won't mention their name".

That's funny. Did everyone on the View unanimously agree not to talk about Cindy's past drug habit or the disturbingly close proximity of her marriage to John's divorce. No wait... it must have slipped everyone's mind...at the exact same time. Careful Lizzie, your white robes are showing.

Does her opinion matter? Well, she appears on a network show every day and talks. That is persuasive in itself. (She is so young to have such an old head.) But I agree that if they want balance, they should have an intelligent, educated Republican woman who can counterbalance the discussions...not this blond twit.

I vote for Michelle Bernard of the Independent Women's Forum--she is right of center--and very intelligent. A very bright woman who actually has opinions of her own. Hasselback would be for anyone who has an R after their name--I seem to recall that she loved Giulaini, then she loved Huckabee, then Thompson--and please people--these guys all hate each other. She was also a big time Bushy. Now all of the sudden it McCain--this girl just wants to be in with whoever can get her in the door. She fits the Republican mold perfectly.

I am about as liberal as they get--but I RESPECT people like Bernard who may have a different point of view, but is educated and intelligent.

IF SOMEONE WOULD JUST THROW A TOMATOE AT HER IT WOULD SATISFY A SECRET FANTASY.
AND IF SHE INSISTS ON MAKING LAME, STUPID COMMENTS, SHE SHOULD TAKE THE CLOTHESPIN OFF HER NOSE.

Thank you oldyippie I also would like to see a tomatoe smashed into her face. She becomes so irate if anyone has a comment that does not agree with her right wing opinions. Why does Barbra no reign her in because she is irritating and she needs a good smack down.

Elizabeth is the worst. she poses semi-naked for some ridiculous retouched covers and then tells everyone how she works soooo hard to have this body, which i am sure she does, and then for the show on plastic surgery - check this out - she brings in for her segment a woman with a 15 year old daughter and the daughter has just gone in for the breast reduction and then they thought it would be a good idea - since she's going under anyway - to throw in a TUMMY LYPO! and the girl is really small, she just happened to genetically have extra padding around the mid-line and when Joy tries to question it , Elizabeth starts flying off the handle and keeps saying 'if it makes her feel better about herself" ... and this is for a 15vyear old whose mother is so helpful at fostering a positive body image - and i'm telling you the girl was like 125 pounds, max.

I think what is really annoying about this statement is that it is so passive aggressive - if she said "Michelle Obama" came in with a list of topics she would have been accountable - this way she's not. what is worse -because there is no direct accusation, there will not be any public discussion of whether or not Michelle had a list and what it was and why - in other words, Michelle can't defend herself while the word gets out implying that she's difficult and demanding.
let''s write a petition to the view and demand that they explain what this means - does Michelle really goe on shows with lists and does every show host just spontaneously feel so compassionate and tactful as to never ask Cindy about her addiction phase? just like every single conservative on TV and radio has come into the possession of incredible sensitivity to sexist language? as of Friday two weeks ago.

The problem for us is that many people do listen to this woman. If it is true that the other "nameless" woman came with a list of forbidden subjects, that is not a good thing and we can't get angry when someone calls our side on something like this. This is the sort of half truth that the Republicans use to their advantage over and over again. Unfortunately we have to be like Caesar's wife - without reproach.

Interesting--so Sarah Palin refusing to talk to media does not have "something to hide," but Michelle Obama does? Which one of the two is running to be a heartbeat away?
