I'm sorry but I think the gay thing is fine, but I don't want it shoved down my throat [no pun intended]. I think the media has gotten carried away. Not everybody loves to see two women or two men together romantically in the media even though it's a fact of life. I just think Ellen pushes it too much, but this a liberal blog so I am in the minority. I'm just independent and moderate. Every magazine and newspaper has pictures. I wish them well, but enough already.

I would agree with you that people's marriages shouldn't be such a big deal but you can't say that this wedding is any different than any other celebrity wedding that graces every magazine.

Gay people have to have hetrosexual images and "reality" put in front of them everyday. There are TV shows about straight people finding love, straight celebrity weddings in every mag and newspaper, the list is long....

with due respect, not everyone wants to see a man and woman together romantically in the media either.

As a gay person, Im really sick of having hetero weddings in my face every five minutes. I only hope every state allows gay marriage soon, so we can be just as annoying as heteros with our showers and gifts, etc.

AHHHH this thread is likely to drop off soon. I finally clicked on the story.... and I'm glad I did. Very touching and very beautiful. But my real question is WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE SONG/WHO ARE THE ARTISTS ON THE VIDEO? I LOVE it, (so pretty), and want to track it down for my iPod.
