Meghan McCain: My Dad Says "Lipstick On A Pig"

The Hill reports:

John McCain's daughter Meghan is not taking offense to Barack Obama's "lipstick on a pig" line like the rest of her father's campaign, pointing out Wednesday morning that GOP presidential nominee has been known to use the phrase.

"I've heard my dad say that, the term 'lipstick on a pig,'" McCain said during an appearance on Fox promoting her new children's book about her father.

Asked directly if she thought Obama was calling Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) a pig, McCain said, "I don't know. I hope not. I mean, I hope not, but I have no idea."

It was very clever of Obama to use that phrase, knowing that it was one of McCains favorite phrases, hinting at lipsticks most recent references, hitting hard with nuance and meaning to the theme of the of his own campaign. Clever, but the people want to hear a god honest rant listing every detail of what this administration did wrong. One big rant showing your horrible disgust. The American people have you upstairs, but they want to feel you in their gut.

I stopped watching any of the mccain/palyin rallies. They have nothing to say! I stopped in for a minute and all you get is more Obama bashing, 'bout it, oh and what mavericks they are.
