Michigan GOP Using Foreclosures To Block Black Voters

Michigan Messenger:

The chairman of the Republican Party in Macomb County Michigan, a key swing county in a key swing state, is planning to use a list of foreclosed homes to block people from voting in the upcoming election as part of the state GOP's effort to challenge some voters on Election Day.

"We will have a list of foreclosed homes and will make sure people aren't voting from those addresses," party chairman James Carabelli told Michigan Messenger in a telephone interview earlier this week. He said the local party wanted to make sure that proper electoral procedures were followed.

I just heard brief mention of this issue on, you'll never guess, Lou Dobbs, huh! His guest, a guy named Joe Manis said that he just got an email about this foreclosure scandal. Apparently, this has been out for quite a while because his other guest seem to have heard about it as well. The other guest had complained that no one in the msm dares to touch this issue. Once again, huffpo educates the msm, great report!

There is a division of the United Nations that will help monitor and facilitate democratic elections. Also the Carter Center has been involved in monitoring elections worldwide.
Due to their experience monitoring elections in all parts of the world, they can easily handle our electoral process. That way there will be no doubt as to the validity of the election results.

I am from Michigan and proud of it. I have relatives who soak the system and take advantage of every government handout available. To support their drug habits, they sell food stamps. It is despicable and Barak Obama wants to continue to tax those of us that work to support government handouts for people like this. And believe me, if I knew what aliases they were using, I would turn them in. But Obama wants to keep "giving" to these people. Yikes.

If these type of unethical tactics by the GOP continue, I predict that conscientious youth of all races will rise up in numbers and take back their futures and their country by any means necessary. Wait and see, in the coming weeks there will probably be a rash vilent protest and anarchy culminating in a Nov 1 - 4 string of uprisings. It won't be pretty folks. I pray that it wont be necessary.

I wrote to a few of the organizations that fight voter supression after reading them. I mentioned this issue and the article. I suggested that they get out in the media and strike up some support for voters and get out there and tell everyone what they can do to help fight voter supression. They can benefit the voters and probably raise some money for themselves.

Hey huffpost authors... you could pursue them too... ask then what voters can do to help fight voter supression!! What can we really do to help keep this election as fair as possible and to not allow it to be stolen from us!!
