Planned Parenthood Defends Obama, Attacks McCain On Sex Ed (VIDEO)

Planned Parenthood defends Barack Obama's record on sex education after a nasty John McCain ad suggesting the Democrat supports teaching kindergartners about sex. In an ad, they say that Obama was helping children protect themselves from sex offenders, while McCain seemingly doesn't care.

"Every eight minutes a child is sexually abused," the narrator says. "That's why Barack Obama supported legislation to teach children how to protect themselves. Now John McCain is twisting the facts and attacking Senator Obama. Doesn't McCain want our children to protect ourselves from sex offenders? Or after 26 years in Washington, is he just another politician who will say anything to get elected?"

About one-third of the absentee ballot applications received at the Hamilton County Board of Elections have been ruled invalid because Republican Sen. John McCain’s presidential campaign printed a version of the form with an extra, unneeded box on it.

Now that was a good ad. I know Obama doesn't want to do polictics the old way but many American's have a short attention span and even "shorter" intelligence range. These types of ads work with that group. He's been successful in the primary, when no one thought he could be, so maybe it can work but just in case can the rest of us take up the mantle and let it rip! It's time to serve it up to the Rep party!

There are hundreds and thousands of POWs all around the world. In fact, America tortured some. So why is that only McCain is the hero? Here is the reason:

McCain will say ANYTHING and do ANYTHING to get whatever he wants - he is THE ONLY POW who has that tremendous GREED - affair with a young WEALTHY heiress while on vacationing without his family, cheated on his disabled wife and family, and dumped whatever was in his way - his disabled first wife and now his own party.

I believe they are wrestling with their own dignity, and their desire to win this election for their Party.

Please own the role the Republican Party has had in the failed situation our Country is in, and let this election go to the better by far candidates Barack and Joe. As A Democrat, I may not agree with your policies, but this incompetence goes way beyond policy differences. I believe the Republican party has ability to be better then this.

This ad starts out strong and immediately fizzles. The purpose of the programs is triggering kids to BRING UP TO adults conduct which is frightening or painful but whose 'wrongfulness' they may not otherwise recognize (especially relative/neighbor perp), thus bringing it to light or preventing it if actual hands-on touching hasn't started yet. No one in their right mind would have any legitimate issue with
that laudable goal.

PP opines that Obama supported legislation 'teaching kids to protect themselves' , without explanation or age reference. Its at best vague and lends itself to twisted explanation of
what 'protect themselves' means. We are not, after all, talking about insisting on condom
use or suggesting that a 5 year old should try to physically fight off the molester.

The ad is also disjointed. One factual statement - a new child subjected to sexual abuse
every 8 minutes - followed by one conclusory statement - the program Obama supported 'teaches children to protect themselves' - and another, apparently unrelated conclusory statement -
McCain has been in DC a long time and therefore will 'say anything'.

Accusatory rhetoric in that same little 'tsk, tsk' 'church lady' voice of the real or robotic individual who seems to have a 'time share' arrangement to do all the female voiceovers for BOTH the Obama and McCain campaigns. Could be others are more 'moved' by the ads of this summer, but
I've yet to see ANY for either Obama or McCain that had any substance. Waste of time
