Planned Parenthood Defends Obama, Attacks McCain On Sex Ed (VIDEO)

Planned Parenthood defends Barack Obama's record on sex education after a nasty John McCain ad suggesting the Democrat supports teaching kindergartners about sex. In an ad, they say that Obama was helping children protect themselves from sex offenders, while McCain seemingly doesn't care.

"Every eight minutes a child is sexually abused," the narrator says. "That's why Barack Obama supported legislation to teach children how to protect themselves. Now John McCain is twisting the facts and attacking Senator Obama. Doesn't McCain want our children to protect ourselves from sex offenders? Or after 26 years in Washington, is he just another politician who will say anything to get elected?"

Obama's campaign should have responded to that nasty ad from McCain, instead they ignore it and Planned Parenthood steps up to the plate. I think I'll donate to PP instead Obama, at least they know what "hitting back hard" means.

People who complain that Obama should come out with ads like Planned Parenthood are missing the point: this is OUR election, this is OUR fight. I kinda like the fact that we're not relying on some father figure like a Presidential candidate to do everything for us, like we're children. With Obama, we're equals, hand in hand in fighting for our future. So if you want to secure your future, make your own ads, make your own posters, post your own YouTube videos, convince your orgs to create their own ads. This is not just about Obama and McCain, it's about US.

Mac is doing a great job circling Obama and delivering many small jibs and jabs with his many ads. They seem to be one day ads - followed up with other ads. There is a formula here that is working.

There will be a jib jab ad that is followed by a longer more substantial ad like the one on Obama's educational initiative in Illinois.

It is the photos of Obama chosen for this educational ad that make the ad really work for Mac. The photos make Obama look like a deer caught in the headlights or a little menacing toward those he is looking down on.
