Boston Globe:

Sarah Palin's visit to Iraq in 2007 consisted of a brief stop at a border crossing between Iraq and Kuwait, the vice presidential candidate's campaign said yesterday, in the second official revision of her only trip outside North America.

Following her selection last month as John McCain's running mate, aides said Palin had traveled to Ireland, Germany, Kuwait, and Iraq to meet with members of the Alaska National Guard. During that trip she was said to have visited a "military outpost" inside Iraq. The campaign has since repeated that Palin's foreign travel included an excursion into the Iraq battle zone.

But in response to queries about the details of her trip, campaign aides and National Guard officials in Alaska said by telephone yesterday that she did not venture beyond the Kuwait-Iraq border when she visited Khabari Alawazem Crossing, also known as "K-Crossing," on July 25, 2007.

Asked to clarify where she traveled in Iraq, Palin's spokeswoman, Maria Comella, confirmed that "She visited a military outpost on the other side of the Kuwait-Iraq border."

IT'S OVER FOR McCAIN /REPUBLICANS- Period.
Clinton foresaw Obama's win by a huge majority and I did too.

Obama's ALWAYS come on strong at the end.
Americans are finding out that this MESS is PURE Republican THEORY at it's logical conclusion.
Dems will wrap this WORLDWIDE DISASTER around McCains "Mr De-Regulator" & Rep. shoulders.
Our Dollar is worth 1/2 what it was in 2008
Our homes have dropped 30-50% in DOLLAR value and what's left is worth 1/2 that in 2000 $$.
Expect the media to continue to harp on every Obama misstatement- Like his 15/16th anniversary.
BUT- As the world economies DIE, corporations go bankrupt, and unemployment SKYROCKETS, healthcare dissapears for millions more, most Americans will finally see the the light and how biased the media really is.
Expect the media to continue to IGNORE Palin's "Witchdoctor" Preacher. If Obama or Biden had that preacher the election would be over already!
If Obama's smart- He'll change his motto after the media and McCain's LIE/ATTACK propaganda get in FULL gear to "No More Lies!" (That's the way OLD Washington works and LIES are why we're IN Iraq and LIES CAUSED this mess!)
That alone could start a "TRUTHINESS WAR" in the media and that would end Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, and FAUX News.

STOP THE LIES- Could end the war, fix Washington, fix the media biases, save our country AND our planet.

Funny thing is that Palin has told so many false stories that her surrogates need
their talking points updated by the hour.
I saw three different surrogates tell different versions.

Iraq ... Ireland. They are both countries that begin with the letter "I".

That's pretty good foreign policy isn't it?

Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies.

Hey, hey, Republicans, potential McCain/Palin voters. Do you really want some people in the White House who are lying, telling bald face lies even if the truth has been already established, lie right in your face just to get your vote.

Didn't you already vote for a President in the last 8 years who didn't protect our country on 9/11 (August 6, 2001 Memo "Bin Laden determined to strike in the US using air planes... "), lied us into a war, lied, lied, lied. Do you really want to have another administration that is so blatantly lying, shamelessly lying into your face without blinking an eye, tell you what you want to hear even if it's a lie. Please tell me you are better than that, please.

There is a ton of information on the Internet that suggests that John McCain was a traitor and not the heroic POW that is his public image. He said in his acceptance speech at the RNC that after they, as he humbly put it, "worked me over pretty good, I broke." The information says that he was not tortured but gave targeting information and made propaganda tapes for the Vietcong in exchange for special treatment. The targeting information that he revealed resulted in deaths of American pilots, and revealed that they were civilian targets, hospitals, schools, temples, which was strictly against the stated U.S. policy at the time.

I have tried to post on this and am always attacked that it can't be true because how would such a secret be kept. Well, it hasn't been kept. It's right out there if you're willing to do the digging. I believe it is, in fact, how the White House coerced McCain to drop his long-held opposition to torture, that they told him they would ruin his political reputation if he did not acquiesce.

You hear nothing from the surviving POWs, but, on the other hand, you do not see them supporting McCain. In fact, a POW named Butler is breaking the pact to the extent of making videos to explain why he would not support McCain:

"Is There Anything The McCain Campaign Isn't Lying About?"

No. No there isn't anything.

Someone who is qualified for a job, doesn't have to lie about their experience during the interview process. It's simple. Palin is ill-qualified and knows it; she's been lying about her experience every time she's been on camera (when they allow her to do so) since the RNC. Just as a good employer shouldn't hire a dishonest applicant who provides a bogus and fraudulent resume, we the people, should not hire Palin for the job of our Vice President. Kick Palin to the curb. McCain's failure to properly vet his candidate--the first important job as a Presidential candidate for a party- shows his inability to follow procedure--EVEN WHEN IT IS IN THE INTEREST OF OUR NATION. Obama/Biden is the only moral, sound, and patriotic choice here, folks.

I suppose the next thing she'll have us believe is that she was under fire when arrived in Iraq, with bullets reigning down!

C'mon, let's give this "gal" a break! She knows where Russia is, after all. OK, OK so she's NOT a geography whiz. But she is a "straight talker", by golly! It's just those funny sounding foreign names that will take her a while to get right. Other than that, she is ready to take up the baton of change!

Trust me, I'm cosmopolitan. I have been to Paris TWICE!! Mind you it was to change planes en route to the "old country" and back when I was 12. But still, I WAS THERE. Gotta count for something right? Maybe, I should be appointed advisor of foreign affairs.

And, if you believe that, I have a Bridge to Nowhere I can sell ya. I don't quite know where it is exactly, but I DO know it's close to Russia.

Who cares how many lies they tell? It's what they do and they are proud of it. Exposing them is a waste of energy. Bottom-up rage should power Americans to vote, volunteer, donate, make calls, fight back.

Let's use it for good. Can your family lie to the mortgage bank? Can your family lie to the grocery store, can you put lies in your gas tank? Then vote for truth.

here is one more lie to add to Pinnochio Palin and her Daddy Geppetto McSame's list

Palin says Alaska supplies 20 % of U.S. energy. Not true. Not even close.
Palin claims Alaska "produces nearly 20 %of the U.S. supply of energy." That's not true.

Alaska produced 14 %of all the oil from U.S. wells last year, but that's a far cry from all the "energy" produced in the U.S.

Alaska's share of energy production was 3.5 % according to the official figures kept by the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

And if by "supply" Palin meant all the energy consumed in the U.S., and not just produced here, then Alaska's production accounted for only 2.4 %

, Palin said "energy," not "oil," so she was actually further off the mark. According to EIA, Alaska produced 2,417.1 trillion BTUs of energy in 2005, equal to just 3.5 percent of the country's energy production.

McCain has also has used this inflated, incorrect figure. On Sept. 3, McCain told ABC News'

McCain: This is a very dynamic person. , governor of our largest state, in charge of 20 %of America's energy supply.

McCain repeated the false figure recently, in a September 11 interview with Portland, Maine, news station WCSH6.

in case you are wondering, Alaska produces even less of the nation's natural gas that it does of its oil. Alaska accounted for just 1.9 %of total U.S. gas production

The biggest lie that everyone is afraid to talk about is the one that McCain is a war "hero". The truth is that he was shot down because he was a lousy pilot (crashed 4 planes previous to Vietnam) flying a mission to drop bombs on civilians. There is no proof that he didn't co-operate with his captors.
