McCain's campaign has been all over the place today - from the economy, to his criticism of morning show anchors, to whether he invented the BlackBerry and on Sarah Palin's inability to run a company. And to make matters worse, conservative pundits are turning against McCain.

The biggest flub came this morning when McCain slammed Wall Street "fat cats" even though his single biggest donor is Merrill Lynch. After denouncing the very people that help pay for his campaign, McCain suggested the government set up a commission to look into what went wrong. Barack Obama criticized McCain for "passing the buck" on the economy:

Democratic candidate Barack Obama says he will take regulatory oversight seriously as president and accuses his Republican opponent, John McCain, of wanting to "pass the buck."

McCain proposed Tuesday to create a commission to study how the economic crisis came about. McCain compared it to the Sept. 11 commission established to investigate the 2001 terrorist attacks.

Just what we need---another commission to find out why policies failed.......and that will take about 4 or 5 years to conclude........and by that time......self-resolution will have occurred.

Well, "don't worry, be happy": McCain will have his Secretary of Treasury, Phil Gramm as head of the Comission, so in 4 or 5 years Phil will take care of things, I am gonna hold my breath and be assured of the resolute Phil the whiner will get results satisfying to all concerned.

Regarding McCain stopping the troopergate investigation:

This is outrageous, the Investigator should threaten to reveal all the evidence he has accumulated so far, including the phone recordings if the republicans and Alaska's Attorney General try to stall or end the investigation. For Christ's sake, Bill Clinton had to testify at his impeachment trial (for an unimpeachable offense) and he was President of the USA,what the heck is this? And since the republicans under John McCain are now spearheading the efforts to quash or stall the hearings, the democrats need an AD asking Shara Palin "What is it you are hiding? we must know if you want to be the Vice President and possibly President of the USA". Democrats don't BLINK!! This a matter of TRUST.

Great, another commission. Let's hope Sarah Palin reads this one... she must not have read the 9/11 Commission's report that showed there was no connection between Iraq and the attacks.

Based on what? The word of a right-wing-nut? And even if it is true- John McC's in the pocket of Merrill Lynch and his campaign is run by 100+ lobbyists and the money given accdg to that "article" given to either McC or O isn't really that much (regardless of the 205% sitting next to it). I'm not losing too much sleep over that one, you big ol HRC fan you.

predictable...
so for all you conservatives that just need to argue and come here to do it...

here is your flip-flopping candidate..

•••Now, as the Bush administration scrambles to prevent the collapse of the American International Group (AIG), the nation's largest insurance company, and stabilize a tumultuous Wall Street, the Republican presidential nominee is scrambling to recast himself as a champion of regulation to end "reckless conduct, corruption and unbridled greed" on Wall Street.

"Government has a clear responsibility to act in defense of the public interest, and that's exactly what I intend to do," a fiery McCain said at a rally in Tampa yesterday. "In my administration, we're going to hold people on Wall Street responsible. And we're going to enact and enforce reforms to make sure that these outrages never happen in the first place."•••

this is only the tip of the icebergs coming your way.
more government controls...

and you thought he was your best choice.

deepak chopra is sooooo right on!

GOP: Man, this country is so messed up! We need to have the Democrats in charge to clean it up. YUP! Okay, lets have the least likely candidate to win run. Done, McCain it is!

American People: We love you McCain, POW!

GOP: Dam, that didn’t work, lets get the least likely VP candidate! Done, Palin it is!

American People: We love Sarah!

GOP: What is with these American idiots? Okay, lets start lying and making outrageous comments.

American People: We want McCain/Palin, we want four more years, we want more war, less rights for women, more subsidies for Big Oil, more for the wealthy one percent. We want to set this country so far back there is no more hope.

GOP: What shall we do next? We really don’t want to win this election but every time we try to wake up the American people they act dumber then before! Oh, I am sure we can come up with something.

The only way to test for Alzheimer's is to look at the brain. They tried that on McCain but they couldn't find his brain.
