McCain's campaign has been all over the place today - from the economy, to his criticism of morning show anchors, to whether he invented the BlackBerry and on Sarah Palin's inability to run a company. And to make matters worse, conservative pundits are turning against McCain.

The biggest flub came this morning when McCain slammed Wall Street "fat cats" even though his single biggest donor is Merrill Lynch. After denouncing the very people that help pay for his campaign, McCain suggested the government set up a commission to look into what went wrong. Barack Obama criticized McCain for "passing the buck" on the economy:

Democratic candidate Barack Obama says he will take regulatory oversight seriously as president and accuses his Republican opponent, John McCain, of wanting to "pass the buck."

McCain proposed Tuesday to create a commission to study how the economic crisis came about. McCain compared it to the Sept. 11 commission established to investigate the 2001 terrorist attacks.

Republicans are rebutting what they describe as smears against Palin. Last week, McCain's campaign formed a "truth squad," which includes current and former GOP politicians who agree to speak with reporters

IT MUST BE PRETTY FUNNY WHEN YOUR STRAIGHT TALK EXPRESS has to appoint a TRUTH SQUAD so we know WHEN YOU ARE LYING versus WHEN YOU ARE REALLY LYING

I'm ready to sleep so I'm not really sure about the juicy details of "McCains very bad day."
I rejoice at the sound of it and wish him many more, his running mate seems to have
plunged 10 points in the last few days. Tallyh-o and let's get the Moose hunter and
Paleface.

Seems more like pasty, doughy face. Being "ad hominem" may not be the best way to defeat these people, but that man looks decidedly unhealthy. Beyond his war criminal physical and mental frailties.

Let's see McCain wants to set up a commission to handle this would that be like the commission Bush/Cheney set up in regards to the energy crisis. You know the one where the energy people were allowed to regulate them selves.

If it is a real commission will you regard its findings the same way Bush did, because if I remember correctly Bush has yet to meet a single recommendation the 911 panel suggested.

You guys talk about Obama's tax record, but fail to mention that record is a record of fighting for the middle, and while we are talking about records McCain has been a strong supporter of deregulation and his financial guru was the one who made the deregulation changes that these guys are trying to blame Clinton for. You know the guy who called the middle class folks who are hurting and have been suffering under this failed Bush economic policy, that McCain wants to continue, whiners. The same policy that has caused hundreds of thousands if not millions of jobs to be lost, sent over seas and to never return. Your party calls those Americans protectionist well some one has to do it because it is destroying our nation from the inside out.

McCain it took the top earners getting hurt before you realized something was wrong and now you want to help us out well thanks but no thanks I think your party has done enough.

From CNN Political Editor Mark Preston

A prominent backer of Hillary Clinton is endorsing McCain.
WASHINGTON (CNN) — Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a prominent Hillary Clinton supporter and member of the Democratic National Committee’s Platform Committee, will endorse John McCain for president on Wednesday, her spokesman tells CNN.

The announcement will take place at a news conference on Capitol Hill, just blocks away from the DNC headquarters. Forester will “campaign and help him through the election,” the spokesman said of her plans to help the Republican presidential nominee.

Forester was a major donor for Clinton earning her the title as a Hillraiser for helping to raise at least $100,000 for the New York Democratic senator’s failed presidential bid.

EDITORIAL
Mr. McCain and the Economy
John McCain spent Monday claiming as he had countless times before — that the economy was fundamentally sound. Had he missed the collapse of Lehman Brothers or the sale of Merrill Lynch, which were announced the day before? Did he not notice the agonies of the American Insurance Group? Was he unaware of the impending layoffs of tens of thousands of Wall Street employees on top of the growing numbers of unemployed workers throughout the United States?
On Tuesday, he clarified his remarks. The clarification was far more worrisome than his initial comments.
He said that by calling the economy fundamentally sound, what he really meant was that American workers are the best in the world. In the best Karl Rovian fashion, he implied that if you dispute his statement about the economy’s firm foundation, you are, in effect, insulting American workers. “I believe in American workers, and someone who disagrees with that — it’s fine,” he told NBC’s Matt Lauer.
Let’s get a few things straight. First, no one who is currently running for president does not “believe in American workers.”

Some of you out there, your small towns, your neighbors and your friends better wake up. Being white does not hold the security of days past......... These days your are a statistic like the rest of the middle class and poor. Don't be fooled by their words, they just want your vote. Ask yourself, ask your spouse if you are better off and see yourself becoming better off in the next four years.
Your sons and daughters are being send off to war just like ours. We have so much in common, but their goal is to keep us divided. UNITED WE STAND!

Does anyone find it a bit unusual that Mcsane's wife, Cindy, is always with him wherever he travels? We now know that he has a very nasty temper is likely to snap at anytime. Is she there to make sure that he takes his medication or has Mcsane been programed to keep his cool whenever he looks at her.

Just asking.

My thought: She's a billionaire beer heiress. What the heck else does she have to do in life? lol

Her domestic help is something like, $250,000 a month.

Cindy McCain charged as much as $500,000 in a single month on one American Express card and $250,000 on another, while one of their two dependent children had an AmEx card with a monthly balance as large as $50,000.” (source: MSNBC)

First of all I thought I should refrain myself from talking about Mrs. McCain. Her wealth is her inheritance. But her husband who does not seem to know the number of homes he owns begs me to ask one simple question? How can he with a straightface tell the American people especially the poor and the middleclass that he is fighting for them? Probably he has not lost any of his home in the mortgage crises. His bank balances are sound especially when one's spouse can charge upto a quarter of a million and more in a month. COME ON FOLKS1 THE REPUBLICAN PARTY DOES NOT STAND FOR THE POOR, THEY ARE ALL MERELY WORDS COMING OUT DURING THE ELECTION YEAR. Think of all his advisors, Graham, Fiorina, Romney and Giuliani all of whom have lined their pockets with multi million dollars during the Bush era. None of them are for the common man. They are all empty talking heads as far as I am concerned looking for some more ways to line up their pockets and they all know that only a republican president will help them to achieve their goals.

She is "with him" for campaign purposes only. For the past 20 or so years, she has lived in Arizona with their child while he lived in DC and came home on occasional weekends.

Read the article in the current New Yorker (or last week's if the new one just came out). I'm sure it's on their website. It gives a lot of insight into this woman who might be our next first lady.

She is a product of a marriage almost exactly like her own to McCain...her father--like McCain dumped a wife and children for a much younger woman.

The most interesting part is how she pretends to be an only child of a doting father,. This is how far she went to promote tat delusion: even though her half sister from the dumped marriage was present at the memorial service for her father, Cindy McCain, in her eulogy, again proclaimed herself to be an only child..

The father left a token amount (maybe 10,000 bucks to the children of the first marriage and millions to our little Cindy, so I guess she thinks that gave her the right to disown his other children).

Don't forget...the McCains are participants in the GOP's *Family Values" scam, hence behaviors that others might label as "psychopathic" are perfectly OK with Republicans..

That's why McC thinks the "fundamentals of the economy are sound." Everbody around him is rich. "What's the problem? Looks sound to me."

Part II:

Putting hyperbolic words in the mouths of others and then mocking the words as though the person under attack actually said them is one of the main propaganda techniques of the lunatic far right. We see it here from trolls on Huffingtonpost every day . But I am betting that nothing will happen to these two bullies for their shameful treatment of a person who was merely trying to express a nuanced viewpoint, one that included the whole picture..

Zuckerman and Scarborough NEVER mentioned the problems of WHAT NOW? or HOW DO WE GET IRAQ TO COUGH UP SOME OF THE COST OF OUR WAR? They just crowed about the war and how wonderful it is NOW. Shameful, far far worse than Olbermann's and Matthew's bickering; at least they weren't bullying.

More evidence that the MSM is coming down on Obama by puffing up McCain.....they can't afford (or think they can't) to have a president who came up through the grass roots. They waited a while before they destroyed Howard Dean too, then they over-amplified the "scream" and Dean was gone. And Zuckerman is a big part of the MSM and Scarborough is the neocon apologist in sheep's clothing.

Part I.

McCain has got Joe Scarborough on his side.. And with the amount of hyperbole, distortions and bulyling coming out of Scarborough, McCain doesn't need anybody else to (...errrrrr) put lipstick on the pig that is the Iraq war. All he and Mort Zuckerman (hardly an objective person) could talk about today was what a hero McCain was to have agreed to the surge.

..Scarbouough just slammed and bullied Mika as REFUSING to admit that Petraeus was a genius for "turning the war around".....even though she fully admitted that Petreaeus and the surge had played a role in the turnaround. Scarborough was the one who refused to admit that it was the Iraqis who basically changed and that Petraeus was smart enough take advantage of it.

Mika's point was that the war was a bad idea in the first place and that we are still not safer, that al Qaida has reconstituted other places and that our military has been seriously damaged by over-exploiting it. Scarborough acknowledged none of these things. He and Mort Zuckerman just beat up and bullied Mika and crowed about McCain. . It was shameful to watch their disgusting hyperbole and the way they put words into Mika's mouth, and then laughed at her for saying what she didn't even say.

Okay, I do not watch network news or cable so the only way I see this type of article is on the net at the three or four sites I visit daily.

So, for people like me who do not visit this site but do visit, say Drudge's site, are they seeing this? Likely not. So, I for one have made it a habit to e-mail these articles (or their links) to a dozen or so friends and relatives. If they read them, and most do, then I spread the news to an audience who may not otherwise see it. Hopefully, they too send the articles along to a group of their friends, ...

McCains' bad day is simply the culmination of the lobbyists that are his caregivers loading him with too much "debt" to maintain his facade of maverick. It was cynical at best, coming from one of the great opportunists and users in senate history. Lies, in the quantity that hes telling them, are impossible to manage. Enjoy your retirement .

I really HATE Faux Noise ...

Did any of you guys hear that Hillary was going to be at a rally protesting the Iranian President at the UN Meeting next week ... ?

Ok so I heard the McSame's veep "Failin'" was also going to be at the protest and upon hearing that tidbit, Hillary canceled her appearance ...

Well my point is this, Faux Noise were hyping the fact that the two "powerful" women were going to be at the event together but when they reported the Hillary cancellation, they used a very unflattering image of her in the news article ...

http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/09/17/clinton-blindsided-palin/

If you look in the link it actually says "clinton-blindsided-palin" ...

I am guessing they are pissed our girl dissed the Lying Neocon, hence the choice of pics ...

Faux Noise Sucks ...
