Protesters Perch At One Of McCain's Pads, Seeking Foreclosure Relief

With the world's financial markets doing their best imitation of a Busby Berkeley choreographed collision of fecal matter and fan blade, and the nation in the throes of an epic housing crisis, the seven labor unions jointly known as Change To Win brought their voices to John McCain's doorstep (one among seven!) in Arlington, Virginia's most concrete-encrusted neighborhood: Crystal City. I went out with my Kyte Phone and my storied inability to shave or open both of my eyes whilst outside to capture the goings-on. There I found a modest-sized group of animated protesters, a smaller and weirder group of counter-protesters, a few genial cops, and one Chrissy Hyneman, all the way from Ohio's Mahoning Valley, who was willing to talk to me about how the economy has affected her. Please to enjoy.

I just want to say to all of the Obama supporters out there: Take Heart!

See all the angry, bitter trolls in here? Hear their doublethink? They claim that we are desperate. And they are right. Desperate for CHANGE!

But they are simply using the Rovian tactic of attacking your opponents strength and running strong on your own weakness. Remember, they are doublethinkers (I implore you to re-read 1984, at least Chapter IX, so that you can truly understand what they are doing).

Always remember that what they accuse you of is exactly how they feel. When they say you are a liar it is because they are lying. When they claim that you are desperate it is because they are desperate. When they assert that Obama CAN'T win it is because they know that he will.

The increase in their numbers and volume is a GOOD thing. Their anger is illustrative of their fear. They have no issues to discuss. So, instead, they rant and rave in a constant diatribe of fear and hate.

NOW is the time to stand strong. To be the better man. We do not need to crush the opposition for they have crushed themselves. Speak with a positive voice. Demand to be heard. And do not listen to the doublethinkers!

Time better spent knocking on doors and registering new voters.

I feel sorry for Arizona - for 25 years they have chosen a guy this dumb and out of touch
to represent them in Congress and Senate. . . . like the Republican Party . . .
Is the best of their best?
No wonder America is in the toilet ! !

This moment I am sitting in my office which is ONE BLOCK from McCain's office in Phoenix, AZ. There are protests in front of his office frequently, and have been for the past year or so, but no media coverage.

But we Arizonans are pretty much fed up with his lies. Did you know that in his 26 years in congress McCain has passed LESS legislation than Obama has in his 12 years in the Illinois and US Senates?

Lack of action should be McCain's motto.

Thanks for that reality check, Awake. The press should leave Alaska and arrive in Arizona and interview you.

Dear AwakeC
I, too am an Arizonian and know that John McCain is not liked in his own state! Why is there hardly any mention of him in the newspapers nor TV coverage? The only thing I read are blasting letters about him in the Letters to the Editor columns.
This man has done NOTHING for his great state of AZ, is known for: a carpetbagger, Keating Five Scandal amongst other things. He prefers to live mostly outside his state only to come home to his ranch in Cornville/northern AZ to visit on weekends, NOT in Sedona as he states.

Please talk to your friends and neighbors and encourage them to vote for OBAMA-BIDEN in November.
I am sure you can think of 3 really important items to mention - legislation is a good start. .. . ..

Does anyone know whose private jet the Clintons borrowed to fly to Barbra's $28,500/plate fundraiser for Obama? Maybe Bill and Hill can be hypocrites too and lead a protest of their own outside one of the McCains California properties...........

Maybe they borrowed AirForce 1 from Bush?
The pilots are used to flying all over the world on the tax dollar dime for the Bush campaign to send his employees out to campaign for him illegally during the 2004 election cycle.
Bush shuttling Rice, Rumsfled, Richard Chunky and Wolfowitz among many others to fund raisers and meet n greets and campaign stops...

Man that cost us a lot, like $83 million dollars over the course of 11 months.

It's about time, someone calls McCain on his crap. He is living high on the hog while jobs are leaving and he still says that the economy is still sound.
