Bob Irwin, Crocodile Hunter's 4-Year-Old Son, Wants His Own Wildlife TV Show

The Crocodile Hunter's 4-year-old son is looking to get his own wildlife TV show.

"He's a little Steve clone," says Steve Irwin's widow, Terri Irwin.

In a segment of a popular Australian newsmagazine "60 Minutes" this week, little Bob Irwin was seen wrestling a (little) crocodile, cradling reptiles and filming a potential TV pilot.

"I'm mister independence," Bob says, refusing help from celebrity sister Bindi, 10 - who already has her own wildlife show on the Discovery Kids channel - to climb a tree.

I so agree. That little girl is a bona fide creep, and I don't think it is her fault. I think mummy is coaching her. She parrots what she thinks adults would say. This is beyond precocity and is just short of pathological.

Steve Irwin was more of an entertainer than a serious animal activist. This is an opinion shared by many proven and respected people in the field of animal study. I've caught Bindy's show while surfing the net and it's harmless enough. But Steve aggravating the daylights out of crocidiles was bothersome to many experts in the field. Certainly his offspring, at the age of four, shouldn't be going in that direction. It almost seems that Irwin's family don't want to give up the limelight.

I agree. I also found it most exasperating to watch, which I only did once or twice. He was crazy.

Steve said he knew when he annoyed an animal too and then he'd back off. Along came a time he should have backed off...he didn't....got speared through the heart for being so "loveable" to the stingray.
