During a Florida town hall event with John McCain, Jeb Bush appeared to throw his brother George under the bus. Bush gave a rousing talk about throwing the bums out of Washington. Perhaps he forgot that his brother is the chief bum? Read more here. See the excerpt below:

"Reform becomes contagious," former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, brother of the current president, said at a McCain town hall meeting this week in Orlando. "If you start to dream bigger dreams and you start challenging the basic assumptions, you can change how things work, and we've done it in Florida, and the Good Lord knows we need to do it in Washington, D.C., and John McCain is the right guy at the right time to make that happen."

My father rolled in his grave last night and in the process kicked my dream shin and asked me what the hell I was doing sitting on my ass putting up with the bullshit of our friends the republicans. Dad was a depression era kid,1924. He was a vet, a union member, a family man. I couldn't understand some of the stories he told me about his childhood, that life seemed foreign to me. Doing without, not hungry, but no money for anything but basic subsistence. My dad was the most conservative person I have ever known. He told me how FDR stepped up when America was in trouble, he never forgot it. His generation was given a chance to re-make the country and they succeeded. My father worked a lifetime to make my life better, and he did. Now is our time. We cannot let another season pass without taking a stand for humanity. Lift your eyes, shake your fists, raise your voice, demand change. If not now when?

Oh, I understand now.... Jeb Bush (manipulator of the 2000election against the popular vote) is one of the "Good" Republicans... he and his 60some million fellow GOPers are actually the good ones and its just a couple of bad apples that got out of control.....
bwahahahahahaahahaha!
Throw the whole lot of them under the bus and back up and run over them several times.... couldn't be anyworse than the blood of tens of thousands of truly innocent people that died under their bombs...

the Dems nominate the best candidate. The Repubs, you sit and wait your turn. Mc Cain surrendered to Bush in 2000., so by their standards, he's next. Jeb Bush is " waiting. His turn is next. Help us Lord.

The bush family is so nuclear now, their own party won't even mention the name at their convention, they can't name one thing they are proud of during either bush administration. They act as if the White House hasn't been occupied by w for the last eight years. They are even trying to pretend they are Democrats--heard Grumpy McSame lately?

The point is, this family has recked our country. The daddy failed, w is the worst president in modern history, Jeb is a president wanna be, but thank God due his his brother he never will. Because of this family, millions of people have suffered, are suffering and have died. Their legacy is one of greed, wars, lies, economic disaster, and a country divided.

They all deserve to be thrown under the bus, and I hope as a country, we have learned our lesson: NO MORE bushes.

VOTE! Stop bush from leaving a lasting legacy. Stop the right wing extremists from taking over the Supreme Court.

"The bush family is so nuclear now..."

Make that "nukular".

Imagine, eight years later and he still can't pronounce a two-syllable word.

And here comes Governor Palin - another "nukular" pronuncation...

The world is wondering, what is it with you Americans and your inch-deep politicians? In Britain we simply lock our village idiots in the back room when company comes to tea, but in America you insist on electing them to high office.

Strange indeed.

And I hope that, as a country, we have learned the larger lesson: No more Republicans. McCain, Rove, and the rest of the gang are desperate for us to send W the Scapegoat wandering into the wilderness and just blithely forget that it was the Republican Party, not just one aberrant family, that has brought our country to the brink of ruin. Sadly, a large number of us seem stupid enough to do just that--maybe not a majority of us, but a large enough minority to put the election within easy stealing reach.

True. I hope the Bushes campaign hard for McCain!

It is becoming more apparent that Bush threw McCain a bone when they were running against each other last time. Get Bush in again and the famly will help you get in, in 2008. The GOP dirty tricks are beginning to NOT surprise me. They seem to be a selfish and deviant bunch.

I'll take a pass on the Jebster! As a Floridian I can tell you he was a great divider!!! He is hated in Florida by those who do not idol-worship him. The education system here is in the dumper..one of the worst in America!! This guy did to Florida what "W" did to America!!! And..we never got kissed!!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 01:38 PM on 09/18/2008

He opposed smaller classes in public schools...while sending HIS kids to private schools...so THEY could have smaller amounts of kids in THEIR classrooms!! Tax cuts for big businesses while Florida's infrastructure crumbled..etc...you know the drill!!

And what W did to Texas also.
The school system there is very bad also.
Guess they figure if the kids stay uneducated they will not know when they are being lied too.

You are so correct...what w did to the country, jeb did to florida. I wish I could say the voting machines aren't a problem but we know different. Electronic voting machines and their hackability is a problem in more states than Florida. I hope O is prepared with attorneys - caging has begun by the repugs already...typical of repugs...can't win on merit or issues, so cheat.

Well, that's a stretch. "Appears" makes the article marginally better, but does Huff Post really need to do this. On the other hand, I'm reading it, aren't I.....

These folks are nothing but animals. They eat their own just to survive. And if they would do that to their own, no wonder now about how they treat the rest of America.
