During a Florida town hall event with John McCain, Jeb Bush appeared to throw his brother George under the bus. Bush gave a rousing talk about throwing the bums out of Washington. Perhaps he forgot that his brother is the chief bum? Read more here. See the excerpt below:

"Reform becomes contagious," former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, brother of the current president, said at a McCain town hall meeting this week in Orlando. "If you start to dream bigger dreams and you start challenging the basic assumptions, you can change how things work, and we've done it in Florida, and the Good Lord knows we need to do it in Washington, D.C., and John McCain is the right guy at the right time to make that happen."

Perhaps he is referring to congress, with a single digit approval rating. "Washington" is more synonymous with congress than it is with the President.

Perhaps Jeb means everybody who has access to power in Washington DC, from W to the janitors.

The Republicans continue to prove that they will even cannibalize their own family members to chalk up a W. (Pardon the pun) These guys/gals have NO shame.

Aye! Al and I remember how "...we did it here in Florida."

That's why, this time, it'll be Obama/Biden, ALL THE WAY!

I am My Brothers keeper.

That philosophy doesn't apply for most Republicans now of days, and if this type of philosophy eludes their own Republican Party and even in the case of their Own Family Members where does it stop, or in this case begin (I am My Brothers/Country keeper)..

poor jebbi he probably pissed at his brother for ruining his chances of being president in 2012
id rather have jeb as prez then mccain he was always a little smarter than georgi
id rather have buchnanan than mccain even a scarbrough errr pawlenty err romeny even though he probably fire everybody.. i hope ron paul will be bob barrs running mate
i think that combo wins 12 % of the vote maybe more

I am from Florida. Jeb is (was?) always smarter but he was a terrible, do-nothing governor. His big issues were vouchers for private schools and Terry Schiavo.

I think that we can say that the words smart and Bush family NEVER belong in the same sentence!!

We in Florida are sick to h--l of being the cradle of the corrupt crap of the Bush family. But things are looking up. There seems to be a glimmer of justice as they tred closer to the Greeks of an earlier era--the house of Thebes. Jeb turning on his own brother for Jeb's personal gain--now there's a surprise. Remeber that one of the things said of these two siblings over a number of years is that they demanded one-hundred-percent loyalty. Seems they fall far short of giving it to their own family. Poetic justice?

God, I just love that the GOP is in total disarray and even Boy George's brother throws him under the bus (that John McCain invented). Real get out the popcorn type stuff.

This seems more calculated and purposeful. Not likely a product of disarray... Use Jeb to create distance from W, so JmcSame is free to yell his new battle cry of "Change" "Reform"

I love how the Republicans have jumped on the we-need-change-in-Washington bandwagon. Does "Washington" include our knucklehead-in-cheif Bush? Or has Bush retired already and the Republicans forgot to tell us.

They might as well start pushiing Neil also... after all both of these brothers profited immensely from the savings and loan deregulation.... I cannot believe that McCain wants to go there, that is back to the Keating 5 and his trips to Bermuda with his best buddy.....
