McCain Campaign "Packs The House" At Palin Town Hall

McCain town hall style meetings are generally open to the public where anyone may wait in line on the day of the event and come in without an advanced invitation.

However, at tonight's 3,500 person townhall in Grand Rapids, Michigan-the first time Palin is taking questions from the public- only ticketholders are allowed in.

Why is CNN and Dana Bash carrying water for Sarah Palin? I saw two reports about yesterday's town hall meeting wherein excerpts of exchanges were displayed for viewers but when it came to the most telling moment -- when a friendly participant asked Palin to name three skills she brings that qualifies her to VP. Palin exhibited that same deer in the headlights look she had when Charlie Gibson asked her about the Bush Doctrine! She could not name one then mumbled something about 'we'll be ready.'

Dana Bash actually voiced (or glossed) this over. Why? Come on CNN. This woman will be a heartbeat from the presidency. Don't cover up for her. Americans need to know if she's up to the job, just like everybody else.

The world will be watching the debate between her and Biden and there is no way she can Cliff note a debate. She will be exposed as the fraud that she is.

when asked about her ability to answer specifics about foreign policy Palin said she was capable and challenged the crowd to /stump the candidate/ Why didn't anyone, even the original questioner ask her something specific? She cannot answer, we know that. That/s why her answer was /i'm capable/

I sooooo thought that "stump me" challenge was a set up. That McSame had someone in the audience hand-picked and ready to ask, "Who's the president of Taiwan?" or something else she'd memorized.

That was an odd thing for her to say, especially since she can't even hit the relative softballs they DID ask.

If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as a Constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator representing a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of the state Senate's Health and Human Services committee, spend 4 years in the United States Senate representing a state of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran's Affairs committees, you don't have any real leadership experience.

* If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, 20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people, then you're qualified to become the country's second highest ranking executive and next in line behind a man in his eighth decade.

She wants to govern this great country and represent us America all over the world. Yet she can not handle questions real questions from real journalist. Since when is it sexist to question a person about their qualification to be Vice President. I guess to question Obama experience is Racist. I am sorry but this type of Mockery is sad and the media need to step it up.
