McCain Doesn't Know What His Own Committee Does (VIDEO)

With Wall Street's financial institutions in turmoil, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) argued in a series of interviews today that his experience on the Senate Commerce Committee meant he knew "how to fix this economy." "I understand the economy. I was chairman of the Commerce Committee that oversights every part of our economy," McCain told CNBC's Squawk Box. Watch it:

McBush may be having some serious "memory lapses". That lump on his face seems to be getting bigger. At 72 years old, these things do happen. The mind is no longer "crisp and sharp", and thoughts come slower, much slower as time goes on. Longevity does not take care of the "mind function".

No disrespect intended at all, but I wonder if McCain's cancer has recurred and metastasized to his brain. I'm serious. He is obviously not well. He has significant memory problems, and is reading every word from index cards on the stump. Unless those medical records are released, we'll all be left to wonder. McCain doesn't know what his own committee does, he doesn't know which agencies are regulatory bodies, he doesn't know what constitutes the fundamentals of the American economy, and here's one more thing he doesn't know: what constitutes pork. Folks, you've got to realize that McCain has no record of being economically astute. After all, he never earned anything. He married a young lady who happened to be rich. However, I guarantee that had she not been rich, he would never have left his first wife and family until he found another rich woman willing to be his cohort in adultery like Cindy. He is now and always has been for himself and himself only. Country first my ass! This guy would sell his mother to be POTUS!

And, amazingly, McCain's surrogates will STILL go out and smile into the camera, recite the talking points, bash Obama, and completely sidestep the question asked by the media person. Unless Dems realize that they need to stop dissing their own candidate, backseat driving the campaign, threatening to withdraw funds and efforts, they will never regain the White House. Get smart people. Support your candidate and win this election. After Obama wins will be the time to make your demands, voice your opinions, and complain about your issues. For now, it's just noise and very non-productive.

the Commerce Committee oversees "regulation of consumer products and services..."
why haven't the democrats tied him to the abyssmal safety record over the last eight years, he was chair of the committee for the better part of a decade starting in 1995. his tendency towards deregulation created many of the food safety issues we have been seeing ranging from ecoli infections to the presence of mad cow in American beef. why isn't there more discussion on this?
