Al Gore To Buy Plenty Magazine? Former VP Budding Media Mogul

Is Al Gore getting into the magazine business? Sources familiar with the former vice president's plans say he is set to announce the acquisition Plenty, a four-year-old title about environmentally-conscious living. As it happens, Gore -- who already has a toe in the media business through his TV network, Current -- is on the cover of the current issue.

I asked Mark Spellun whether Gore is about to become Plenty's new owner. "That wouldn't be quite accurate," he said. He declined to elaborate, saying an announcement would be forthcoming.

Gore is amking a killing on his Global Warming jaunt., over 100 Million so far and climbing. No wonder why he didn't want to run for POTUS, no way he could amke all this money.

No. However he is responsible for helping push for easier access to the internet in regards to civilians and making it more avaliable to the average person when he was in Congress. He isn't the father of it (that goes back to it's military origins) but he played a big hand in it being as wide spread as it is today.
