The Palin And McCain Administration: Sarah Flips The Ticket During A Rally (VIDEO)

This video from a Palin event today catches the vice presidential nominee putting herself before John McCain on the ticket. Check out the video and read more here from ABC News.

Politico's Jonathan Martin had this related report:

At a rally outside Youngstown, Ohio, Tuesday night, dozens of attendees left while McCain was still speaking.

I caught up with a few of them. Some explained that the airplane hangar where the rally was being held had grown crammed and uncomfortable. Others said they had other events or commitments to get to.

Notably, though, the exodous had only begun after Palin spoke.

Now, the same thing has happened again.

"I look up, about five minutes into McCain's address and see a steady stream of people walking out of the rally," writes Radio Iowa's Kay Henderson from a McCain-Palin event in Cedar Rapids.

Everyone seems to be missing the point. When Palin talks about the government taking less money so businesses can expand she shows a lack of understanding how our tax structure works. Businesses are allowed to to invest money and grow and the money used for that is not taxed. It is a business write off. Increase your labor force and create new jobs and all of those costs are not taxable. We have one of the highest tax rates in the world but when it comes to paying taxes we pay one of the lowest percentages in the developed world. The top 20 corporations in the US pay no or very little taxes because businesses are able to reinvest capital and lower their taxes. It just shows another talking point that doesn't add up. But it sounds good to people who don't want to pay taxes, but when their house is on fire, their roads are full of potholes, or they are robbed, they don't call the republican party for help, they call the government.

What a democrat post. You obviously know nothing about economics, not to mention the fact that you should call the fire dept., the road dept., or the police dept., all of whom are paid for by the taxpayor that has a job because the company he works for is able to give him one. Want higher wages because you want a house you can't afford? Have your union strong-arm your empoloyer. Oopps, better not. They may move your job somewhere else so they can stay competitive in the market place and keep their business profitable. I'm sure you are willing to buy something at a higher price because it's made in America, aren't you? Try saving for something you want...it's something Americans have forgotten how to do...not to mention that it has a really great effect on money supply.

There are two possible explanations. The first is that in her own mind, Sarah has a more direct line-to-God, so really, she gets top billing. The other, equally plausible, is that the devil made her do it. Poor John, it's like a warped remake of All about Eve.

What the heck is she saying???? Palin belongs in the entertainment section. Seriously. This response to a question from an audience member at a town hall is totally incoherent. She's saying something along the lines of it's a "fungible commodity and they don't flag the molecules to tell where it's going or where it's not"? Then she goes into complete dribble. You can see McCain sidling up to her toward the end, probably to signal for her to shut up.

The Air America guy's comments at the end are comedy gold.

I am willing to give Palin a pass for the slip of the tongue. Remember that this type of things do happen. Our Obama first introduced Biden as President, then corrected himself immediately. No big deal. We know Palin's and Biden's respective places on their respective tickets.
