The Palin And McCain Administration: Sarah Flips The Ticket During A Rally (VIDEO)

This video from a Palin event today catches the vice presidential nominee putting herself before John McCain on the ticket. Check out the video and read more here from ABC News.

Politico's Jonathan Martin had this related report:

At a rally outside Youngstown, Ohio, Tuesday night, dozens of attendees left while McCain was still speaking.

I caught up with a few of them. Some explained that the airplane hangar where the rally was being held had grown crammed and uncomfortable. Others said they had other events or commitments to get to.

Notably, though, the exodous had only begun after Palin spoke.

Now, the same thing has happened again.

"I look up, about five minutes into McCain's address and see a steady stream of people walking out of the rally," writes Radio Iowa's Kay Henderson from a McCain-Palin event in Cedar Rapids.

I'm curious- when this is over - and Palin has to leave the major league limelight and go back to Alaska - how will she deal with that bit of obscurity - since she obviously feels as though she was qualified all along. She doesn't understand that she was "used" - for so many reasons. But her government in Alaska is a paltry one compared to most of the lower 48 - stuck up there all by herself looking at Russia from afar. Will she take it out on her staff - making sure they will always remember her importance? Will she think she has what it takes to try and make a run for President next term - not understanding that she was only useful as John Bush's sidekick? And will the old one tell Obama that it's just politics and not to have hard feeling for all the lies he told? This is the end of his career. Time to retire to one of his houses. Being in your own little blogger's world, you should also consider the reality of this nation's history and the people's mind-set.

We the People are divided. North, South, East and West.

I have lived in the south, these people are still in the civil war mind set, and will die before ever consider changing to be a united people with the rest of the states.

The same goes with the east. Our political systems shows just how out of touch they are and it also effects the other states for selecting our president. Not to forget the time zones does not allow the voters in other times zones be allowed to vote before the east has announced who is president. I know because I also lived in the west for as long as I lived in the south. Before I could vote after work, they were naming the new president by 4:00pm California time, remember east 3 hrs ahead polls close. The media claiming the winner.

I have never lived in the northern states, I am not a lover of snow shoveling and paying my life saving to stay warm.

All that to say, Americans can not be infromed voters becasue the messengers are bias and unbalanced for the democrats to get their message out to all the people like the republicans can. they own more of the medias, radios and TV stations.

I don't think Democrats necessarily should be flippant about this. The GOP for some time has been talking about switching the ticket -- that "some time" being ever since Palin seemed to score major points for Republican die-hards and in the national polls. However, even though Palin's flame my be foundering -- so to speak -- make no mistake how "energized" the Republican Party and the mainstream media could become if they announced another Hail Mary pass: Palin and McCain switch places.

Our only saving grace is that McCain is too uptight a bride's maid to let this nomination slip through his fingers again. Let's hope this is a gaffe and not a Rovian play --- I don't think I could take another four years of this kind of national heartache.

I've not seen anywhere that that is legal. I don't think it has ever been done. I just think that it is insight as to how Palin really thinks - what she thinks of McCain - how she views herself in all this. She sees herself in the limelight of flashing bulbs. I wonder what McCain said to her in private. We're aware of his temper. I don't see him just putting a smile on his face and saying, "Now, Sarah, you bad girl, you can't say that. You know that it is me who is running for President - not you." And in her mind she thinks,"Right, old man. I'm having all of my church members pray that it is God's will that I should be president - not you." Actually - I bet he raked her over the coals and she had better not make that slip of the tongue again. There are two bog egos here.
