McCain Campaign Can't...Won't...Rule Out Gramm As Treasury Secretary

For those of you who have developed a fondness for Tucker Bounds-themed bondage and domination videos, here's another YouTube where David Shuster chortles his way through a segment in which Bounds cannot or will not bring himself to assure the American people that Phil Gramm - who recently called America a "nation of whiners" but who led the effort for the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act that paved the way for the economic collapses of today - will not, under any circumstances, become Secretary of the Treasury in the McCain administration. If Bounds keeps at these sorts of "explanations," the world's supply of false equivalencies may run out by the first week of October.

Why don't the Networks just stop talking to this A**?

What does it accomplish to have this blowhard on any "news" show?

Nothing he says is ever true. Isn't that what the media is about, looking for truth.

Or are they just trying to fill air time?

Over the years John McCain and Phil Gramm is the cause of all of this MELTDOWN in the economy as a whole especially Banking and Mortgage Deregulation ! Pork Barrel Earmark Spending, Voted with BUSH over 90% of the time ! Are you better off than 8 years ago ?
(Mrs. Phil) Wendy Gramm over seen the (ENRON - MELTDOWN) !
*(Barack Obama)*, Paul Grugman, and Chris Dodd are the ones to listen to on possibly the best plan !
Possibly Jim Cramer could help us out of this MELTDOWN too ! This will last years or decades for us if we don't *Vote For Change* !

I'm beginning to believe that Tucker Bounds cannot give a straight answer to any question. That's the exact kind of behavior that bush showed during his first campaign that convinced me that he was an out and out liar and I could never vote for him, let alone trust him.

If the bailout bill passes, giving the Treasury Secty control of the 700 billion....

...in January, Phil Gramm will be playing with taxpayers money, if Mc.C gets elected.

How's that for a scary thought?

It is believed that Bush Supporters (ie. Republicans) have mental problems -- of one kind or another..! I read somewhere (?) that most academics and educated people agree that Bush supporters are "pathologically" driven people.

[1] Study Finds Link Between Bush Supporters and Mental Illness
http://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewArticle.asp?id=25764

A study showed that there is a direct link between mental illness and support for President Bush. The study is based on a survey of 69 psychiatric outpatients in three Connecticut locations during the 2004 election. There seems to be a strong correlation between PSYCHOTIC persons and their presidential SUPPORT for Bush.

[2] COGNITIVE DISSONANCE: Mental Disorder Afflicts Bush Supporters, Who Cannot Face Truth
http://tabacco.blog-city.com/cognitive_dissonance_guilt_myopia__psychology_of_being_in_th_1.htm

Cognitive dissonance is defined as "the discomfort felt at a discrepancy between what you already believe and new information."

Cognitive dissonance is a state of opposition between cognitions. In brief, the theory of cognitive dissonance holds that contradicting cognitions serve as a driving force that compel the human mind to acquire or invent new thoughts or beliefs, or to modify existing beliefs, so as to minimize the amount of dissonance (conflict) between cognitions.

Examples: A majority of Republicans believe there is a link between Saddam and Al Qaeda, that WMD have been found in Iraq, that George Bush is a "compassionate conservative", that there is NO economic crisis (we're just whining), etc.

I hate to have to bring the discourse down to this level but the McCain campaign and it's surrogates are nothing but a collection of dishonest, unethical, unpatriotic SC*M! I understand that a campaign is an attempt to win but at what cost? This crowd puts winning above ALL else, above what's best for the country, truth, honesty, honor, morale values, the economy, our image in the world, our children's future and the troops. There's is a philosophy of "CAMPAIGN FIRST and COUNTRY LAST" and it's nothing short of disgraceful and extremely UN-AMERICAN!

In the future please do not insult scum by associating them with beings of a lower order. Perhaps after a few months of association scum will sink to that level, but I don't thik they're there yet.
