Bounds Gramm

For those of you who have developed a fondness for Tucker Bounds-themed bondage and domination videos, here's another YouTube where David Shuster chortles his way through a segment in which Bounds cannot or will not bring himself to assure the American people that Phil Gramm - who recently called America a "nation of whiners" but who led the effort for the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act that paved the way for the economic collapses of today - will not, under any circumstances, become Secretary of the Treasury in the McCain administration. If Bounds keeps at these sorts of "explanations," the world's supply of false equivalencies may run out by the first week of October.

Phil Gramm was correct with the "nation of whiners" comment.

If Obama said it you guys would be in saying that it shows honesty and leadership.

WTF? Is this a joke? Have you read the headlines in the papers in the last week? Do you have any retirement money at all? Do you own your own home? Have you had to cool your home this summer? Will you have to heat your home this winter?

Some people rather be told what to think then to think for themselves.

Actually that's a republican tactict. Democrats tend to be more honest. That's why they have trouble winnng elections when the cards are immensly stacked in their favor.

During the last days of the civilization on Easter Island, some people were people smart enough to eventually figure out that cutting down all the trees to roll the big stone idols to the beaches was destroying their environment and was going to lead to all of their deaths.

If YOU had lived during that time and place, you would have been one of the persons calling THOSE people whiners until the very last.

As another poster pointed out, the technical term is cognitive dissonance.

Don't forget that Gramm was also responsible for the de-regulations that lead to the speculators that run up the price of oil/gas.

In case you don;'t know who Phil Gramm is by now, or that he is one of the architects of our nation's current endangered financial underpinnings, he is
1. The man who has sugar plum dreams of snatching our Social Security and putting it in the hands of investment companies but won't answer the question: Who gets to pick the investment companies that would be on the Republican's SS menu -- you know, the ones we will have to pick from?

2. Check below for how he -- and McCain -- fit into this nightmare.

John McCain -- Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act

John McCain, in 1999 voted for the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act which allowed the deregulated consolidation of commercial banks, investment banks, and insurance companies. The end result of the G-L-B Act is that it has crushed the Country economically, wiped out the home equities of millions of Americans, enriched white collar criminals beyond their wildest dreams, and threatens to eclipse the Great Depression in its scope and depth of injurious damage. The G-L-B Act was primarily written and sponsored by the man who until most recently was the Co-Chairman of John McCain's presidential campaign, as well as his number one economic advisor. He is the one that called America a “nation of whiners”…and proclaims that America’s recession is “mental”.

The news networks should put a banned on this Tucker guy. Why waste television time? Just interview the Obama campaign people all the time and that will irritate that 72 years-old-President-wannabe-guy who will be force to find someone else for the media to talk to. Why is the media begging to have this guy on tv over and over again?

EVERYONE, Republican or Democrat, please watch this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MO6P_yjKFR4&eurl=

Bear in mind, as written, the bailout does not benefit ANY taxpayer, ANYWHERE. It gives the US government free reign to buy bad debts with public money; $700 billion is just the START.

This bailout gives Bush, Cheney and their banking institution cronies free reign to directly siphon wealth out of the hands of people who work for it, and place it in the hands of the already fabulously wealthy and fabulously greedy.

This isn't financial crisis, this is financial CRIME.

View the movie; Google Shock Doctrine and Bilderberg Group, and you will be able to understand EXACTLY how we got here, and what is being done to the American public. This is not a conspiracy theory, it is all out in the open.

For a glimpse of the future of America according to these people, Google for North American Union, Amero. This crisis is the first step towards devaluation of the dollar and the ushering in of a new currency, at the expense of the Constitution. These people are quite literally STEALING the American Dream from ALL present and future generations.

Bush knows this; he knows this is going to come out, so he's already prepared his bolthole in South America. Once the truth gets out, the whole world will be looking to hunt these people down once and for all; and the world will be a better place with them all in JAIL.

Yeah, I LOOOVE when Schuster pretends to be holding someone's feet to the fire. He got so stuck in tunnel vision that he let Tucker say that Gramm is NOT an advisor to the McCain campaign!!

Well, he WAS until his ludicrous "nation oh whiners" comment. And THEN Ron Paul got a call from Gramm on behalf of McCain just a few weeks back!

THAT's the source of these "rumours" Tucker is speaking of here!

Tucker is such a whining bedwetter.

Of course he's going to be McCain's SOT. This is where an educated electorate comes into play. If people understood Gramm's past and his role in McCain's campaign - and the liklihood of him getting this job in the event of a Republican win - I've got to believe folks would move to Obama in droves. Reformers, indeed. Our bad situation is only going to get worse if these people win.
