St. Petersburg Times:

Five weeks ago, the St. Petersburg Times convened a group of Tampa Bay voters who were undecided about the presidential election. Their strong distrust of Barack Obama suggested it was a group ripe for John McCain to win over.

Not anymore. The group has swung dramatically, if unenthusiastically, toward Democrat Obama. Most of them this week cited the same reason: Sarah Palin.

I like NARAL's winning claim: Mc-C/P: 15th century solutions for the 21st century (I think I said 13th, oh well).

I am sorry but those people offered me no insight but being for Hillary Clinton and the feelings of disappointment that she didn’t win. They offered nothing substantive to justify their resistance against Senator Obama, since the differences between him and Hillary are gender, race and ‘universal health care”.

Yes, Palin scares them, but if they can't see a BIG difference between McCain and Senator O*bam and are still "thinking" about it, I am sorry, but they are not showing much intelligence.

I hope this translates to votes for Sen. Obama, but there is probably truth to a comment (below) on the link you provided:

"I am an Obama supporter, please lets not get too carried away. Remember, 75,000 in Oregon and Hilary still carried it. People are fascinated by the man, doesn't mean they would vote for him."

What does "he isn't saying the right things" even mean? It suggests that he should be saying something other than what he means. I'd rather he say what he means and what he believes.

SocialSecurity and Abortion rights. This is the key to carrying Florida this year.

Clinton narrowly lost Florida in 1992 but won it by six points in 1996 primarily because of the SocialSecurity/Medicare issue.

Florida is still VERY winnable. Don't be afraid to effectiely use wedge issues that divide economic and social conservatives. It's an effective and legitimate political strategy and in this case based on the truth of McCain/Palin positions.

Florida is definitely in play this year. I think it will break blue.

Now if we could just get more people out at http://www.boppoll.com to push McCain's number up. This poll, high score loses. If we can get 20 people over there at the same time , we can get the meter moving at 1200 bops a minute.

Palin is starting to look like the liability she should be.

What the F*%k is it with the boppoll reference you seem to include in every post??

It's meaningless and just shows that repubs have more free time on their hands.

Good graphics on your website, RStone, but isn't this considered spam? I don't care, just wondering. Oh, I didn't "BOP' for the "BOP-O-METER", but nice to see that I'm not the only one calling McCain "Big Mac". Tough to choose one name for him, among so very many choices.

McClueless. McCain't... hey, I like that one even better! John Mc Cain't President. And neither is MisPellin'.

Oh geez, I must need a break.

I just hope there are no problems with the voting in Florida this year. Dang, I'm sick of that.

Oh, and here is a little something you may want to share to undecideds. It's apparent the trickle down isn't working. Time to get rid of the Repubs. http://www.cbpp.org/3-27-08tax2.htm

Obama will tax the rich proportionately and give the break to the right people, the middle class.

A small town mayor and short time governor of Alaska with no credentials, but a lot of legal baggage and a gun. Sounds like a good Republican candidate for high office. And people ask if she is qualified? What utter nonsense! Qualified for what? PTA organizer perhaps.

Actually when I first heard about what McC said about her in the introduction. I laughed. His first words were that she was a PTA president...I had her heading a new agency--Dept. of Bake Sales!!

You want to talk corruption. Let's talk about Obama being up to his neck in Fannie Mae and Freddit Mac. In a few short years Obama became the second biggest recipient of donations from these two democratically controlled fraudulent companies. The to former CEO's former Clintonites, and current Obama supporters/Advisors/fund raisers. Obama=National Suicide

You forgot to mention the 83 Lobbyists belonging to the McCain Campaign...former CEO's are a non-issue....
