CNN Calls Out McCain Lie: Obama Does Have A Plan For Financial Crisis

John McCain keeps on outdoing himself with his lies. Now he's trying to make the totally false case that Barack Obama doesn't have a plan for the economic crisis. "Senator Obama," he says, "has still not offered any plan of any kind."

As CNN's Tom Foreman reports:

No plan from Obama? No way. To the contrary, Senator Obama has talked at length about reforming Wall Street, getting CEO pay packages under control, instituting new regulations to protect homeowners. In short, what everybody wants: stabilizing the economy.

Foreman also added that McCain has "been notably short on details on how he would handle this crisis."

Could someone please tell Pat Buchanan that every time he calls Obama a "community organizer" it is akin to calling him "boy". As we all know, Barak Obama was a community organizer 20 years ago. Since then he has been a Constitutional Law Professor, a state Senator, and a US Senator.

It makes me mad that only one person has called Pat out on it, and that was Joe Scarborough!

Which do you think is better prep to understand how this country works and what it needs? Nothing wrong with working in a law firm, per se, but I dont think Buchanan would like to be referred to as an executive assistant today.

While I'm glad McCain is backing himself into a corner and giving Obama the lead in the polls, I'm not getting extremely excited until he screws up in the debates. I'm nervous about the debates because McCain can fabricate and paint himself as a leader, when clearly he isn't. With America's short attention spans, McCain could see a surge in his poll numbers...­..I hope not though.

Obama has a chance to turn the debate into a more open discussion. We'll have to see if McCain gets frustrated by wanting to only speak about his perceived strength on foreign affairs.

When the U.S. economy takes a slide jobs are lost, savings are lost, homes are lost and the self-esteem of those involved is crushed. But that is just what happens at home, in the U.S. When the U.S. economy tanks people in other parts of the world stop eating. The global economy is driven by the U.S. economy. Remember that Obama was a law professor and studied law. One thing you are taught to do in law school is debate. It's a cornerstone to learning the profession. I suspect Obama will do very well in this regard and from what I have heard the McCain campaign is very nervous about these debates which is why they reached a deal to have Palin in a different debate form. The presidential debate will be more free form that Obama likes and the vice presidential debate will be short question and answer session to help Palin. It was a deal that both campaigns made with each other.

Obama has to speak louderand more articulate in debate. He has to cut short his answers. McCain sounds decisive with short replies, he may have used it as a way to cover his shortcomings but it worked. Obama has to call McCain's judgment RECKLESS, his repeated LIES. No way around these things.

Obama introduce a bill to fight fraud in mortgages as early as 2006. The bill was reintroduced in 2007 but Republicans killed it. He wanted more regulation of the mortgage industry. Here is link that proves it...
