Main Street's Resentment Over Wall Street Bailout

The bailout doesn't smell right to the people of Manassas Park, where the foreclosure signs are as common as azaleas. They know all about bad debt here. This is a terrain of oversize dreams, misjudgment, financial calamity -- and empty houses. "Foreclosure. Foreclosure. Foreclosure," said Ed Merkle, 58, as he pointed to the "for sale" signs lining his street.

But Merkle, a defense contractor, said he has lived within his means in an era of easy credit. He didn't take on a huge loan even when his bank encouraged him to dream bigger.

But regardless, it is because SP goes to places where it is in her bubble of comfort. Lake City, FL -- come on. Judicial Watch has filed a lawsuit through the FEC, against John McCain and his illegal fundraiser that was held in London, on March 20, 2008. Funny how certain 'democrats' want to vote for McCain because Obama is too 'elitist'.

Republicans refusing to help Main Street and the middle class in this financial crisis wreaks of elitism.

I understand why we must help bailout these huge corporations, if they go under, what trickles down will be monumental. But there needs to be more CEO and upper level management accountability. We cannot just write them a blank check with tax payer money. They have already demonstrated abuse of money and power, and we cannot have them doing the same with our tax dollars.
