Oliver Stone's "W." Movie: An Exclusive Clip (VIDEO)

Oliver Stone's "W." comes out October 17 and below is the first look at a television spot for the film. With Josh Brolin as the president, Thandie Newton as Condi, Richard Dreyfuss as Cheney and more, the below clip shows everything from a presidential press conference to a pretzel choke and introduces the main characters.

I know what you mean. If the original was so bad, how could this "re-make" be good, eh? That's why I don't pay much attention to McC and Pain lately. I didn't watch Dumb & Dumber when it first came out, so doesn't make sense for me to watch the sequel. Biden said, "the sequel is always worse."

Tho I like Oliver Stone movies - I will NOT waste my money to see any movie about GW Bush..unless its a movie about how the autoritys finally drag him and cheney out of the white house - kicking and screaming, straight to the Hague..and hang'm! That I'd pay to see...

I appreciate and admire Oliver Stone's contributions, but this seems premature because W is not over yet, and from the continuing Shock and Awe, we may never get over him. The man ran every businesses that were handed to him into the ground before even becoming a governor. The only reason his Astro's venture was successful is because W wasn't actually on the team. Now that he's helped ruin all major financial institutions and devalue the dollar – what's next? A film depicting his bad bay behavior? Too little too late.

Funny, isn't it, that when a Republican is ahead in any kind of polls the left immediately make accusations of malfeasance yet when a democrat is ahead in polls they believe them 100% and make the argument that the polls are accurate and irrefutable?

No, it isn't funny, especially when you consider that Republicans swindled the 2000 and 2004 elections and Bush, Cheney, and company have driven this country into the ground because of that. It doesn't strike me funny at all that Republicans have shown themselves to be capable of deception, chicanery, and outright lies at every turn in the past 20 or so years- from Watergate to Iran/Contra to the current economic crisis and that somehow you keep getting away with it. McCain/Palin would bring more of the same lies and deception with them, which is why I can't wait for the Obama landslide. I don't think the general population will take the "voting irregularities" lying down the way they did in 2004.

On the contrary, and first let me acknowledge that I realize that liars don't believe the truth when they here it, but here it is anyway, the truth. As an Obama supporter, when I see him behind in the polls I worry that the conservatives are going to get another term to wreck the country. When I see him ahead, I worry that the polls are wrong. So, wherever this opinion came from, its wrong in at least one case, mine.
