Palin Agrees To Help With Palin Administration Investigation Of Palin Administration

Attorneys for Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin met with a special investigator for the Alaska Personnel Board earlier today to broker her cooperation with the panel's own probe of the scandal now known as "Troopergate," according to sources close to the matter.

With help from the McCain-Palin campaign, the popular governor and GOP vice-presidential candidate has fought a separate investigation by the Republican-dominated Alaska state legislature into the scandal. The flap centers around allegations Palin used her power to pursue a personal vendetta against a state trooper who was once married to Palin's sister.

Most news stories covering this involve only the headline "Palin to cooperate with trooper investigation" or something along those lines, so while the truth is that she's working with a bunch of yesmen who will give her the results she wants anyway, meanwhile, any independent voter who might read headlines but not stories will think that she's cooperating after all.

Mission: distraction and distortion.

Just what level of transparency and accountability is Palin promoting in her stump speeches?

The question remains, did Gov Palin over-reach her power in office? Was Monegan fired for being ethical?

From Palin's record concerning Emmon's the Wasilla librarian. Palin showed a tenacious nature when asking of Emmon's three times her opinion on banning certain books. Emmon's did not capitulate on either of the 3 occasions. Emmon's was terminated.

In both cases Palin states a loyalty problem with Monegan (initially), and Emmon's "for not giving full support to the mayor. "
It's a good statement, as it is so broad in context.

Palin has accepted the nomination of VP, her record of leadership and decision making is being vetted at a national level.

Fortunately, McCain's operatives are in place to manage the information.

Trooper-gate? Everybody should care! Investigation will reveal if laws were broken and criminal prosecution is in order. Stalling will not help avoid criminal charges after election. Even should McCain win, Palin can be prosecuted if crime committed. She would then be impeached by Democrat Congress. McCain"s people know this but care less because, Palin expendable AFTER election.
