John McCain: The Fundamental Deregulator (VIDEO)

Over the last few days, John McCain has talked a decent game when it comes to enacting new regulations to protect American families from another financial crisis. But as this new video demonstrates, McCain's talk is just hot air -- he's got no record to back it up.

Last March, he famously said that he was "fundamentally a deregulator." In July, he said that his "fundamental difference" with Barack Obama was that Obama favored "more regulation" while he favored less. And earlier this month, McCain's strong support for deregulation was on display in speech after speech at the GOP convention.

Now, John McCain is scrambling to follow Barack Obama's lead as a reform-minded proponent of regulation. But that can't change the fact that when it comes to his record, all the way up until Thursday of last week, John McCain is "The Fundamental Deregulator" -- and YouTube is here to prove it:

John McCain's brief news conference today on the economic bailout was a telling portrait of a main out of his element. Not only did he appear fatigued, but almost pained as he answered the few questions that followed his prepared remarks.
Instead of projecting the image of a future president anxious to lead our country out of this crisis,, this candidate seemed anxious to just leave the stage.

Let's not let them fool us any more. Republicans have been in power 20 of the last 28 years ( Only Dem was Clinton ) So who else can be blamed for this financial mess ? Republicans have de-regulated banks, lenders,, trucking and more. Now there is little or no protection for consumers !
The power brokers like it that way ! Now they want to give Treasury Sec. Paulson total power over 700- 800 Billion of our money. Are they craazy ? Voters can not allow Washington power brokers and lobbyists to control us..not anymore ! Let's show them we mean business this time. Call, write, fax your Congressman and tell them. WE'VE had enough !
Recall that the First 6 years of Bush / Cheney Presidency, had a friendly Congress. The last 2 years were Dems.. But Bush / Cheney threatened to Veto or they filibustered to prevent a vote on a bill .
I used to support MCCain..no more. He is now towing the party line. He voted no on the GI bill, no 14 x on an increase in minimum wage, voted time and time again for more tax breaks for big oil / huge corporations McCian has also voted no many many times to any regulations to protect the middle class. Forget party loyality..Just vote for the future of our kids and grandkids future.

The problem with McCain is he has opposing views with himself on almost every issue. One minute he is The Deregulator, the next he is Mr. Regulation. His campaign is run by Wall Street Lobbyist, but he is going to clean up Wall Street and kick out the Old Boy's Club. None of it makes any sense. Nothing John McCain does means anything because it is all done for the moment to get elected. I watch and listen to McCain and walk away shaking my head......John McCain is a walking talking oxymoron.

Now McCain is claiming he is against privatizing social security. That is today just as he is for regulation today. Tomorrow will be the new McCain who will be on the opposite side of these issues. No wonder he switches from one side to the other each day, that's what alzheimers does for you. The man is a wreck!
