Lindsay Lohan Confirms: I've Been Dating Sam "A Long Time"

LOS ANGELES — Lindsay Lohan has confirmed what the world has guessed: She's been dating Samantha Ronson "a very long time."

The 22-year-old actress casually told the co-host of the syndicated radio program "Loveline" on Monday that she's been dating the 31-year-old DJ. The pair have appeared in public and been photographed together but have never publicly commented about the extent of their relationship.

"You guys, you and Samantha, have been going out for how long now?" DJ Ted Stryker asked. "Like two years, one year, five months, two months?"

"For a very long time," Lohan said after laughing.

Stryker interviewed Ronson while she took a break from DJing at TV Guide's Emmy afterparty Monday night in Los Angeles. Ronson had been discussing her friendship with DJ AM and Travis Barker, who are recovering from severe burns following a plane crash in South Carolina last weekend, before putting Lohan on the phone.

Lohan's publicist, Leslie Sloane-Zelnik, told The Associated Press on Monday that Lohan is not engaged to be married.

Well, I guess gay advocates are just blushing today. Clay came out in People and now a 22 yr old confused, wild and dysfunctional actress is talking about her sex life. After all the men LL has been with, this is just an emotional experimentation. I'll give it a while before LL declares she wants a boyfriend again. Ronson is meeting a need for LL right now. So many hetero women resort to this after they've had bad experiences with men.

experimentation is one thing, actually being gay is another. but bad experiences with men aren't the only reason women date other women. also, there are many women who have been with men their whole lives and realize that it has never completely satisfied them on emotional, physical, and sexual levels. i dated men into my twenties because it was what was "expected" of me. but those relationships were never truly fulfilling, they never felt truly right. the first time i dated a woman was when i had an epiphany. i'm gay. and for once in my life i am NOT confused.

some women experiment, and through that experimentation confirm for themselves that they are indeed straight. others realize that they are not straight, and never have been. but just so you know, a TRULY hetero woman isn't going to go to women simply because she has had bad experiences with men. a TRULY hetero woman doesn't have those kinds of feelings for other women. that being said, most people at some point in their life feel an attraction towards someone of the same physical sex.
