John McCain's Keating Five Problem In 97 Seconds (VIDEO)

Here's a new video taking a look at John McCain's Keating Five problem in just 97 seconds.

The video combines archival footage of CBS and NBC News (including a report from Andrea Mitchell!) with reporting by CNN's John King aired just last month.

The bottom-line is that two decades after his role in the savings and loan crisis, John McCain is still the same old guy, more focused on deregulation than on delivering the sensible protections we need.

John McCain was Charles Keating's #1 lapdog. McCain had complete knowledge of what Keating was up to and still he took Keating's bribes. The Fact is that McCain isnt that smart. He never has been, hes gotten away with acting irresponsibly and like a jerk all his life. He was born rich and priviledged, and never had to earn anything or deal with being accountable.

He got into politics mainly to just outshine his father and grandfather who made it to Admirals.
Hes never had good policies, he has never really thought about it. If you look at any tough questions posed to him he stumbles and cannot give a clear answer. If you look at his record, hes run only on deregulation and cronyism his whole political career.
He was in charge of the Commerce committee when Gramm's mortgage lending deregulation was forced through.
He was in charge and presided over record unauthorized spending by his colleagues. He himself has obtained millions in Earmarks for his state that he refused to classify the same as everyone elses earmarks.
Anyone paying close attention to this campaign has to be just in Awe at how ridiculous he and his staff have acted, and behaved.
