Palin Says Another Great Depression Is Possible

NEW YORK — Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin says the United States could be headed for another Great Depression if Congress doesn't act on the financial crisis.

Palin's comments came in an interview Wednesday with "CBS Evening News" anchor Katie Couric.

Asked whether there's a risk of another Great Depression if Congress doesn't approve a $700 billion bailout package, Palin said: "Unfortunately, that is the road that America may find itself on."

Palin said the answer to the financial crisis doesn't necessarily have to be the bailout plan that the Bush administration has proposed, but should be some form of bipartisan action to reform Wall Street.

That was a degree in Sports Journalism, I read somewhere.

But even if she has a thin academic background she could have improved as an autodidact. It seems she lacks curiosity just the same as GWB. If she had just listened to the news she would have better answers. She told her #1fan, Hannity during her infomercial that she doesn't watch tv. She doesn't like libraries or museums very much either since she did her best to cut their funding as mayor.

Her selection is an insult to every intelligent American.

Candidate Pallin is quite right. It is also true if we give 700 billion, then another 700 billion and then more billions until our currency is as worthless as a continential, we will still have an economic collapse, or depression, as Mrs. Palin calls it. The bailout is about fleecing and transfer of wealth and has little to do with affecting our economic destruction.
