Palin Says Another Great Depression Is Possible

NEW YORK — Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin says the United States could be headed for another Great Depression if Congress doesn't act on the financial crisis.

Palin's comments came in an interview Wednesday with "CBS Evening News" anchor Katie Couric.

Asked whether there's a risk of another Great Depression if Congress doesn't approve a $700 billion bailout package, Palin said: "Unfortunately, that is the road that America may find itself on."

Palin said the answer to the financial crisis doesn't necessarily have to be the bailout plan that the Bush administration has proposed, but should be some form of bipartisan action to reform Wall Street.

McCain's choice of Governor Palin was an insult to every man, woman and child in America. He should be ashamed.

1) she thinks a fetus is a full person deserving full human rights up until birth.
2) she thinks homosexuals are never people and never deserve full human rights
3) she's a she.
McCain had to shore up the religious right vote, and he had to pander to the Clinton voters who were not voting for Clinton's policies but her sex. And it went great at first. But look what happened. The real world interfered with his plan. Real issues came up. Issues that Caribou Barbie is clearly not up to. Maybe he should have picked a man or woman who really could fill the shoes of the Presidency. Someone with real qualifications. But then, maybe even he can't fill those shoes.
