Mccainoops

What we are witnessing right now is what a McCain presidency would be like -- herky jerky, bouncing from crisis to crisis, overreacting at every step.

It's taken him exactly ten days to go from the economy is strong to we're heading into the Great Depression and must stop the campaign.

But nothing has changed other than the polls, and that's why it's impossible to take this gamble seriously.

McCain can see that he cannot win the presidency unless the campaign narrative changes dramatically, so he's decided to roll the dice.

After all his talk of bipartisanship, John McCain has decided to make an intensely political move. He does not have a plan, but he's willing to drag the country through his personal drama, no matter the cost, just so that he might win the presidency.

McCain wants to demonstrate his leadership skills, but instead he's demonstrating beyond any doubt that he is temperamentally unfit to be president.

What is it about Obama's opponents -- be they behind in the polls or in delegate count -- that they continue to think they have the right to bully the man into accepting their unilateral decisions.

Say "no" to McCain, Barack. This is no time for cowards.

He is the poster child for insanity. He can not lead our country. He can only lead a cult of people filled with hate who have no reason left.

Is John Sidney McCain III ready for prime time? If not, he should retire now before he gets any worse.

McCain should grow a pair and debate. He has already weighed in on the financial crisis and has done enough damage with his deregulating addiction. If the frying pan is too hot to debate, he should send the top of the ticket in his place.

yeah, this 'stop the ride so I can propose my plan' when he has no plan and didn't even think one was necessary yesterday- now everyone is supposed to hold their breath and wait on him when people who know what to do are already doing it, is a Diva move. John McCain is going to save the day- he can't even follow through on a normal campaign. Gawd, don't tell me the next thing is going to be 'suspend the election until this blows over'. Seriously, so much is so twisted and irregular about this election they might float anything at this point.

No, ONE other thing has changed:

The Natl. Enquirer, those wonderful folks who brought us the sordid details of the John Edwards affair,
has a new issue out detailing SARAH PALIN's affair with the ex-business partner of her husband.

Not just heresay, they claim to have a sworn affidavit...

McCain has little to no defenses left.
The lies and innuendo aren't working, and the Miracle Sarah is turning into a liability QUICKLY...

WHat better way to try to distract us once again...

Did you know that if the Govt. declares this enough of a National Emergency, HE CAN SUSPEND THE ELECTION IN NOVEMBER???

I didn't either.
I do now, and I'm a bit worried...

Then we, as US citizens must NOT stand for it. We ARE the government and the elceted officials serve at OUR pleasure. Each and every one of us has to be sure of our convistion that nothing can stop the US elections. They have never been postponed before: not during war, depression, or uprising. WE cannot allow it to happen

If you read astrological posts about the November election, (I realize this is pretty far out for many) it is suggested that Bush intends to do exactly that - call off the election. What has this country come to that these right-wing R epublicans have so much sway?? Scary!

Can he walk and chew gum? Crisis management IS part of the president's task, as is multi-tasking. And he's asking BHO to stop running ads (see Ben Smith)?! Friday night should be possible to continue - it IS the business of the people to know where their future leader stands. Another gimmick, another gamble. No more drama, vote Obama.

Great analysis, Jed. He is indeed unfit for the office that he seeks to hold.

This post is perfection. To the point and right on point.
