I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Frank

One would think that some of John McCain's Republican colleagues might actually want to help him become president of these United States, but no: given the opportunity to ensure that the presidential candidate might be able to make a substantive contribution to bailout measure negotiations, McCain's friends in the Republican Party put their noses to the grindstone and worked out a deal without any Maverick input. Clearly Republican leaders are totally in the tank for Obama.

How painful was the thought of working alongside McCain? Over at Politico, they report that Barney Frank minced few words, saying: "Nobody mentioned him. The man's irrelevant to the whole process. No Republican mentioned his name. I'm the only one who raised his name. They winced when I did." Frank also compared McCain to a cartoon superhero:

"He's been irrelevant to the process. He remains to be," said Frank. "I was afraid that his dropping in here, like Andy Kaufman's Mighty Mouse -- 'here I am to save the day' -- I thought that would slow things down. I didn't see any sign of our Republican colleagues paying any attention to him whatsoever."

I just wish Obama could say what he feels, like that trip back to Washington was a big waste of jet fuel!

Well, Since Senator Obama could not say or do "what he feels," I can and I will.

If Senator Obama had came out White instead of Black; He would not have had to go back to Wahington DC.

When are we going to stop talking "around" Racism in this Society and attack this age old, ingrained superstition head-on?

Yesterday, I compared McCain to Mighty Mouse on HuffPo and the comment was promptly deleted. Apparently, Barney Frank thinks it an apt comparison and referred to the same lyric that I did.

Yes, but when you, a commoner said it, they thought you were referring to his stature, as opposed to his colleague who was referring to his ego.

It's never a good thing when you become the butt of jokes, by both parties, during your presidential campaign. McCain and Palin both have become jokes and can't be taken seriously anymore at all, if they really could have been.

All Mc Cain has done is inject presidential politics into the process. Now its a mess and getting worse. These "faux-to" opps are a useless waste of our time and an insult to the intelligence and goodwill of every American citizen.
Shut down the Cirque du Mc Cain! Enough!

This is laughable. Barney Frank (aka House Financial Services Committee Chairman )
This was Democrat Barney Franks position in September of 2003
In 2003, Bush, & McCain tried to tell Congress, let's reform Fannie before they go under, but Barney Frank said there is not crisis, you're exxagerating Bush and McCain.

"These two entities - Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac - are not facing any kind of financial crisis," said
Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee.

Look it up people..The very guy who said there is no crisis is now trying to act like it's all the Bush Aministration's fault...

Look it up yourselves....

It's very possible he was ignorant of the back room deals going on in Mac and Mae in 2003. Remember, it was to the advantage of these institutions to keep the details of their success as low key as possible.

In 2003 the Republicans were the majority and now you blame Barney Frank!

The Republicans are at fault for this economy, not Barney Frank. So many Republicans, so many greedy, greedy, greedy crooked Republicans.

The Bush Depression began last Thursday. Mark your calendars. And in ten years, twenty years, a hundred years, this will be the legacy of the defunct Republican party. That, and thousands of useless deaths in Afghanistan and Iraq.

What a legacy to leave the American people.

TWO TIMES MCAIN HAS NOT PUT THIS COUNTRY FIRST:
1. Choosing palin
2. Going to Washington and injecting presidential politics and photo ops into this mess.

His POW status is completely diminished after these two decisions. I have absolutely no respect for this man. Shame on him

Its all political to him. ohh and he hasnt even suspended his campaign

3. The Veterans bill
4. Voting DOWN equal pay for women's equal work.
5. Messing with Colorado's water
there's plenty of things to prove that it's always McCain first, Country last.

The problem is : he's a Republican. No shame. Only grand-standing, lying, throwing crap out as excuses and misdirection. Man of the people? Bull. He never in his entire LIFE put his country first. EVER. And the American people??? Absolutely LAST on his list.

He's beneath contempt. Talk about a usual politician! He's crazy on top of that!!

Breaking NEWS!!!

John McCain, Sarah Palin and President Bush have offered to buy the State of Alaska from the US for a convenient price tag of $ 700 Billion + travel expenses for all Republicans to relocate to that State.

This would leave the "Lower 48" to Democrats, Independents, and other right-minded Progressives.

In a late turn during the negotiations, Hawaii was retained by the Continental States as a member owing to the birth connection of America's next President to that beautiful state.

McCain was overheard to ask "Which way did they go, Which way did they go?", as his younger bride led him by the hand to the 10-seater Alaska State jet, ... which she had recently bought in a "side-deal" outside of e-bay.

"Are you with me, you sweet C**T?", he asked his wife. "Will we see reindeer there, ... Can I go salmon fishing? ... Are you with me, young lady? ... Are we there yet? I can't wait to see Santa Claus and the Northern Lights, ... did I ask you if you were with me young lady? ... Are there other beautiful women like you up there in , ... in , ... um, ... Where are we going again?"

As the Alaskan national jet left the airport, ... Todd Palin was glimpsed flashing an obscene gesture from his cabin window at the press gathered there. Always a man of few words.

I hope America is getting as sick and tired of this charade as I am. I'm tired of McCain's grandstanding. How can anyone pay any attention to this guy? Are we so dumb? McCain's whole campaign should be dragged out and put in stocks for us all to laugh at.
