I wonder if he feels, while he's delivering that bogus speech, that he's the only person in the Universe who can deliver a message of that type as well as he can? Look at his facial expression­s...Is this the most serious look he can come up with? He doesn't look the least bit concerned. After all, what does HE have to lose?

Now he adds 'Sh*tty Actor' to his 'Sh*tty President' repertoire. Just what we need.

The deal is already in place. The GOP has no internal conflict. The deal was kil led only to make McCain appear as the man who resurrected it by bringing everyone to the table.

It's a sc@m. The deal will be announced today at 3pm, Dow will climb 500 or 600, and McCain will take credit just before going to the debate.

The whole thing is a set up.

Once again, Stewart and team nailed it! The only difference really was Shrub's facial expression. In the earlier clip he looked slightly confused while in the most recent he looked scared to death. Nov cannot come fast enough! Is there any way that we can get him to go to Paraguay NOW?!

I saw that last night. It was awesome. I have the same question. Why are we being bullied and rushed into this bailout? It was just like the Iraq War, he kept saying this is dire. They're coming to get our children today. We've gotta do something NOW. Rushed decisions are never wise decisions.

if you and i can see it, why can't pelosi, reid, frank, dodd and obama? this bailout is nuts. and guess what, no bail out this morning and the market is doing ok. about 50 points down right now but it hasn't given up the gains of yesterday.

Exactly. Do you remember when the Tech and .Com bust of 2000 happened? They kept saying that the Dow would never reach 10000 and it did. It's not like we can't recover. We've done it before. Paulson said that if we didn't have this done by Thursday or Friday our entire economy would go up in flames.
