LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Heeeere's Huckabee.

Former Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee announced on his Web site that he has a new show debuting 8 p.m. EDT Saturday and Sunday on the Fox News Channel.

The show is simply titled "Huckabee," he said.

"I'm sure the name will make it easy for all of you to find it," Huckabee wrote on his political action committee's blog.

Fox News Channel spokesman Richard White said that Huckabee's new show would air on the channel but referred all questions about the show to Huckabee's agent.

Sarah Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor's daughter and head of his political action committee, said the same show will air both nights. She said his guest on the show will be Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the conservative co-host of ABC's "The View."

Huckabee, who dropped of the race for the Republican presidential nomination in March, joined Fox in June as a political commentator and has been working with the cable channel on a television show.

Huckabee left the presidential race after John McCain won enough delegates to secure the party's nomination. The ordained Baptist minister was a regular on late-night talk shows during his campaign.

Since exiting the race, Huckabee has started a political action committee to raise money for other Republicans and is writing a book about his failed presidential bid. That book is scheduled to be released in November.

I'm by no means a fan of the republican party, but I will say though if Mike Huckabee wasn't a crazy right wing religious nut. He seems like a decent guy. He had the best personality of all the republican candidates for this election.

Great. That's all we need. The world is moving backwards if a Creationist believing Bible thumper gets his own show, even if it is on Fox News. Huckabee is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He disguises his repugnant beliefs with charm and humor. Huckabee should do his show wearing overalls and carrying a pitch fork, like a character from "Deliverance" Once you take off the suit, you have a back water hillbilly.
How fitting then that Huckabee's first guest is the scourge of women of my generation - Hasslebeck. She is a total twit, and an expert on nothing. It frustrates me that there are so many brilliant people out there whose talents are being wasted, because idiots like Hasselbeck seem to get the plum jobs in media. Sad. I can only hope that Hasselbeck announces on Huckabee's show that she is leaving the "View." That at least would be something good to come out of the show on Sunday.

Good idea! Have Elisabeth leave The View and get a show on Fox. That is definitely where she belongs. I know The View needs a conservative voice for balance, but it needs to be someone else.

Up until Hasselbeck, the View did not have a conservative voice. The show managed to do very well in the ratings then. We don't need a conservative voice, there are enough shows for that. However, if the View feels that it is necessary to have a conservative on, then they shoould hire one who actually knows what she is talking about, isn't shrill, lets others talk, doesn't lie and most of all is respectful.

They are his opinions, and he is entitled to him. I never agree with the guy, but I respect him. One of the few GOP candidates that actually listened to people, and acknowledged they were entitled to their opinions. And if they made a good point, Huckabee would acklowledge that too. His views on some things are WAAAAY out there, but he's a somewhat likeable guy.

He is a great spiritual guy, remember when he was speaking to the NRA and a loud bang went off, he commented maybe someone just shot Obama......how funny and approriate for a former Babtist Minister. He is another right-wing a--hole working for the McNews, and how appropriate he have the republican cheerleader and former Survivor guest on.....they can talk about how impertant religion and guns are. And what a great family values guy John McCain and his former mistress Cindy are.

If I hear Hasselbeck discuss how the troops are so happy to be serving in Iraq, I'll go crazy. She's WRONG ... military folks hang in there to take care of their brother and/or sister beside them in the trenches. They're not political pawns! We are the best trained military in the WORLD ... this is the case even when sent on missions that every individualy may or man not agree with. I don't need to watch another Fox show to hear the same old talking points.

If you care about our veterans and this country of ours...

...Don't vote for John McCain.

McCain voted against our troops MANY times in the senate.

John McCain voted AGAINST 20 million dollars for veteran care facilities.

John McCain voted AGAINST $322 million for safety equipment for our troops in Iraq.

John McCain voted AGAINST $1 billion dollars in new equipment for the National Guard.

John McCain voted AGAINST Jim Webb's G.I. Bill.

John McCain voted AGAINST $430 million for veterans outpatient care.

Barack voted FOR all of these troop support initiatives.

They deserve better than McCain.

We deserve better than McCain.

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS AND VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT

I have been a loyal fan of The View since Star Jones was still making Chubby Chasers mouth's water.
*wipes tear in memory of yesteryear*
Hearing Hasselbeck's voice gets my blood a boiling everyday... I guess what angers me the most is her ardent support of the war in Iraq, if she and her husband really believe in their precious Dubya then why haven't either of them enlisted in the military? I find her comments about the sacrifices military families make to be patronizing and tinged with snootiness. I am a proud Army wife and don't appreciate the likes of the privileged who have made no attempt to serve this country in any tangible capacity hiding behind faux fame to keep from putting their money where their collagen filled mouths are.

I agree. I want her and sorry NFL player hubby to go and enlist. That way we'll know she's really about country first!! And take the kids too since you are a "multi-tasker" and that makes you soooooooo
sure Sarah is the right choice. And...your SURVIVOR experience has made you day 1 ready for the challenges that our military troops face daily (so you think)!

We need a petition to call her bluff to send her to fight along side the troops for a few MONTHS!!

You will find that it is those who have no skin in the game, that support the Iraq war more often than not.It is a shame that our government lied, and mislead so many in the Army, and put them in harm's way.

Yes, the chubby chasers are still in sorrow over the sad and skinny state of the new Star Jones. Unfortunately, Sherri Shephard, although buxom has cotton candy between the ears. Funny, but no where need as bright as Star. I pray for the day when they get rid of Hasselbeck. I believe eventually Whoppi will loose all patience with her empty headed right wing blathering and bop her in the nose one day! She has stolen my serenity many and day and I've just had to turn the tv off (the horror!) Good riddance if she gets a job on Faux news where she can sit and spew out right wing hatchet jobs while bouncing up and down in her Sarah Palin cheerleader outfit.

Watching TweedleDee Hasselbeck on View right now, and she gets flustered and as usual spews the Faux Noise talking points, "Rezko, Ayers, judgement, experience" and Tweedledumb Sherri shut her up with two words: Keating Five. And Joy was like, "Sherri you go girl!" Comedy. Enjoy have that blonde bag of air on your show Huck!

She'll have free reign on this show to spew forward her "stepford republican" views. The lady makes me ill. Like "HopeGirl" says above - I think I'll binge before the show so then I can purge after!! Actually I won't even watch it.

This chick sells her soul so she can be invited to a white tie at the White House.

They should call it "We (heart) Huckabee"

Can we shut up now about MSNBC having a slant? They at least have Morning Joe to balance Maddow and Olberman.
