I Like ItI Don’t Like It

This was one of the most satisfying moments of the entire debate -- Barack Obama stepping up to the plate and telling John McCain that he was wrong on Iraq.

I know, you know it, everybody in America knows it -- except for John McCain. He was wrong, and that's not the judgment we need.

Here's video:

Update: Here's another video I put together with the evidence -- in John McCain's own words -- for Obama's line.

Obama demonstrated key points of review when doing a debate. Being able to tell an opponent when they are wrong and give facts. Oh,remembering to look his opponent in the eye is always key. John McCain evidently forgot this in debate 101.

Here's a better one:

Obama, you weren't right or wrong on Iraq. You didn't vote.

You weren't even a U.S. Senator at the time we went in to Iraq.

That is what a juvenile Barack Obama is.

He became a senator 3 and a half years ago.

Juvenile? Seriously? He was one of the few public figures who not only spoke up but outlined exactly why it was such a bad decision. Which is more than anyone can say for any of the Republicans.

Like McCain you don't know what the hell you are talking about, he became a U.S. Senator 3 years ago, but he was also a State Senator before that. This is why Obama won the debate.

It's just shameful that someone who only became a US Senator so recently knows more about foreign policy and has better judgment than someone who keeps repeating how "experienced" he is.

Experience isn't everything. Age does not equal wisdom. John McCain doesn't have good judgment or even honesty after 72 years of experience in life. Shame on him.

That's even better! The fact that he had the judgment to say NO to a war BEFORE even being in the U.S. Senate says a lot buddy. He was right on the war, McBush WRONG.

Wrong about Kissinger, too:

During an interview with CBS News' Katie Couric which aired Thursday evening, Sarah Palin called Barack Obama "beyond naïve" for wanting to talk "without preconditions" to rogue leaders.

"I think, with Ahmadinejad, personally, he is not one to negotiate with," said Palin, referring to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. "You can't just sit down with him with no preconditions being met."

"Barack Obama is so off base in his proclamation that he would meet with some of these leaders around our world who would seek to destroy America and that, and without preconditions being met," she continued. "That's beyond naïve. And it's beyond bad judgment."

Asked if she considers former Republican Secretary of State Henry Kissinger to be "naïve" for supporting talks without preconditions, Palin said, "I've never heard Henry Kissinger say, 'Yeah, I'll meet with these leaders without preconditions being met.'"

Palin was overlooking that Kissinger (with whom she met earlier this week) has backed negotiating directly with Iran over its nuclear program and other bilateral issues -- a point which Couric reconfirmed at the closer of her interview.

"Incidentally," said Couric, "we confirmed Henry Kissinger's position following our interview, he told us he supports talks if not with Ahmadinejad, than with high-level Iranian officials without preconditions."

When contacted by ABC News about the split in position with Kissinger, the McCain-Palin campaign had no immediate comment.
