Report: McCain Aides Complain That Palin Is "Clueless"

Radio talk show host Ed Schultz reports:

Capitol Hill sources are telling me that senior McCain people are more than concerned about Palin. The campaign has held a mock debate and a mock press conference; both are being described as "disastrous." One senior McCain aide was quoted as saying, "What are we going to do?" The McCain people want to move this first debate to some later, undetermined date, possibly never. People on the inside are saying the Alaska Governor is "clueless."

On Friday, conservative columnist Kathleen Parker said that after seeing Palin in interviews, she thinks the vice presidential nominee should drop out.

This is an old republican ploy. They are lowering the bar on her performance. Let's not forget some of the same things were being said about GWB in 2000. After each of the 2000 debate, the majority of people felt Gore won. But, the republicans were able to spin the media to help Bush. They are trying to do the same for Palin. They have their fingers crossed she doesn't make any minor gaffes and they will spin-spin-spin the results.

Actually from that Interview with Couric I really believe Palin is that BAD you can't lower the bar any further when the bar is below ground.

This is the thing...when and maybe "if" there is a VP debate, the world will see that she is nothing more than a cassette tape that has had data recorded without the ability to reply to questions that require comprehensive answers. This is exactly what has happened in all the interviews that she has given. When asked a question where she actually has to use "thought" she has fumbled, stumbled, and spouted out incoherent sentences and paragraphs or else has said..."Let me get back to ya on that..."
