Report: McCain Aides Complain That Palin Is "Clueless"

Radio talk show host Ed Schultz reports:

Capitol Hill sources are telling me that senior McCain people are more than concerned about Palin. The campaign has held a mock debate and a mock press conference; both are being described as "disastrous." One senior McCain aide was quoted as saying, "What are we going to do?" The McCain people want to move this first debate to some later, undetermined date, possibly never. People on the inside are saying the Alaska Governor is "clueless."

On Friday, conservative columnist Kathleen Parker said that after seeing Palin in interviews, she thinks the vice presidential nominee should drop out.

I wonder how long it will take for the McBush campaign to start whining about Biden being sexist and the media treating her unfairly, etc. etc. And watch Palin spout a bunch of memorized statistics about Biden's career and make memorized statements that take a small true fact and overgeneralize it to make a point, a technique called the BIG LIE.

Biden should take her out on the ledge of her stupidity and push her off and laugh at McCain while doing so. Its time to quit playing to the dumb people who elected Bush - they are too dumb realize how they are being screwed and too too dumb to change their vote. But the smart people aren't going to vote for the Palin/Bush Ticket.

He should point out how unfair it is for McCain to pick such an unqualified person and expect her to do well in a debate, much less the VP position. He should point out that Dan Quayle was better qualified and smarter to serve as VP, and the Spiro Agnew has less of a corruption scandal when he started as VP.

Dems need to have a jammer to foil any radio transmissions to her concealed earpiece.

It would be great to see her cut off from secret help.

They are probably fitting for just such a device, with antijamming, from secret US government stocks.

All Kidding aside. The REAL problem for Biden will be when he has to respond to Palins remarks. I am being sincere here.

Imagine after her comments about the bailout she gave to Katie the Moderator turns to Biden and asks ' What do you think about her position?

WHO on this PLANET could respond to THAT with out saying ' WTF did she just SAY????? I can't answer your question because I haven't the slightest clue of what she just said!!

Forget him having to hold back laughing in her face , he has to be able to understand what she is saying in order to debate her. NO ONE understands her!

Oh my, what a surprise for everyone. Particularly given has thuroughly and completly Palin was vetted as potential running mate by McCain and his people.

In his memoirs, McCain said: "As a politician, I am instinctive, often impulsive....I don’t torture myself over decisions. I make them as quickly as I can, quicker than the other fellow, if I can. Often, my haste is a mistake, but I live with the consequences without complaint.”

Great. Palin is one of the biggest impulsive mistakes in judgment McCain has ever made. Let him live with the consquences, but the nation does not need to suffer those consequences.

Combine his recklessness with age, stubborn arrogance, health challenges, anger, temper and frequent confusion. This man cannot be trusted with the presidency

Remember that this is American national politics. The unexpected and the insane happen here on a frighteningly regular basis. Bush was "elected" twice. Its no great leap of the imagination to think that the absolute worst people for the job will once again prevail, and we'll end up with Palin and McCain running amok in world affairs. The fact that ANYONE would even consider voting for Republicans after the lunacy of the Bush administration is proof enough that Presidential politics have very little to do with reality.

Sarah Palin announced she forgot about Parents Teachers night which is scheduled the same night as the VP debate. She has asked the debate committee to postpone the debate until next spring which will be better for her as she welcomes her new rose garden.
