Mccain And Palin

CBS News:

Sarah Palin told a customer at a Philadelphia restaurant on Saturday that the United States should "absolutely" launch cross-border attacks from Afghanistan into Pakistan in the event that it becomes necessary to "stop the terrorists from coming any further in," a comment similar to the one John McCain condemned Barack Obama for making during last night's presidential debate.

During Friday's debate, Obama criticized the Bush administration for sending billions of dollars in aid to Pakistan without ridding the border region of terrorists.

Don't CROSS McCain, Palin! Look what happened to Fiorino!

McCain is in a VERY HARD SPOT.

Repubs are starting to say on TV that she must GO!

BUT McCain's judgement is already in question in so many ways that I doubt he can AFFORD to DUMP HER.

DUMPING HER added to his OVERALL BAD JUDGEMENTS TO DATE WOULD SINK HIM!

Besides would the AMERICAN PEOPLE STAND FOR "WALL STEET" "GOUL"IANI and what would the "RIGHT" do with Deputy DAWG? DESERT SHIP AND NOT VOTE!

His only hope is the debate does not focus on Foreign Affairs or Domestic Affairs.

Maybe Fishing, Hunting, and OIL would work for her.

I guess that means he is "big" enough to accept different views from those around him. That's what I was told on here when I pointed out the things B iden disagreed with O about.

Oh, boy, we have 2! candidates who can accept differing views.

Mccain retracts Palin's statements?

That's right....he speaks for her. When will he stop treating her like a step-child?

Did he call her a C**t like he did Cindy when she mentioned his combover? This just reinforces McCain's belief that "women shouldn't be paid the same as men until they get more education".

...but Sarah Palin does not speak to Black people.

Why hasn't the media reported on the SECOND Bridge story, the SECOND bridge is a $600 million bridge to her hometown of Wasilla that she DID support ?The project that McCain said in a July 2005 statement "derided both projects (BRIDGES/ EARMARKS /PORK Barrel ) as wasteful. He called Young's highway bill a "monstrosity" that was "terrifying in its fiscal consequences."

"I want no part of this," McCain said in a July 2005 statement. "This legislation is not — I emphasize not — my way of legislating." Oh well that was BEFORE he needed a skirt to win him an election . http://www.ajc.com/news/content/shared-gen/ap/Presidential_Elections/Palin_Bridge_to_Wasilla.html?cxntlid=inform_artr

P.s. - they can't keep her on a short enough leash, obviously. No more dinners out, Sarah. Go back to your hermetically sealed debate study chamber.
12:44 PM on 09/28/2008
Yeah, McCain retracted her statement with George Stephanopolous this a.m. - says that this is what happens when reporters ask her questions and everyone should and does realize that this is not her real opinion on the matter.

Ummmmm... OK. And black is now white and up is down. Wheeeee!

There often
seems to be one lone black guy really close in the background when she's talking. Coincidence or is there a spy? Drama sting.
02:55 PM on 09/28/2008
The black guy could be secret service. There usually is one close to Mc Cain too; like when he was running from Washington Dc to Ole Miss for the debate.

Is he saying then that anything he or P alin says in front of a microphone is B sh..... or a lie?. OR is he admitting that P alin does not have the brain to say anything unless it is written out for her? Unbelievable !!

When Palin came out the GOP were going crazy, many said she had single-handedly redefined the GOP.

They were enamored by the fact that McCain had chosen a woman as VP and her gender would be seen as an advancement in feminism. They spoke in such mocking terms about how this would capture Hillary supporters. Fox news paraded a plethora of defected Hillary supporters who had switched allegiance as a result.

Lady De Rothschild spoke so highly of McCain citing elitism as her reason for not endorsing Obama. She said McCain has greater judgment. Organisations like P.U.M.A. spoke so highly of Palin and said, "putting aside foreign policy, Gov. Palin has more and varied experience than Obama/Biden combined.

They must ALL seem rather foolish now. "Palin has executive experience" It's funny how NONE of them are talking about that now.

Obama was criticized for being a JUST fantastic orator. If this were true then why was it that Obama MORE than held his own against McCain in a debate centred on foreign policy? Who was it that said, "the fundamentals of our economy are strong"? Who said "I'm suspending my campaign in order to get the Bailout deal done...and I won't be attending the debate until it is"?

As Palin NOW stays clear from any reporter with a mic' it has become crystal clear to everyone.

McCain put party politics BEFORE COUNTRY FIRST.

Thursday will be embarrassing for Palin but ultimately DISGRACEFUL for McCain
12:47 PM on 09/28/2008
And the sad irony is that now he can't ditch her BECAUSE of politics. Even if he finally grabbed a shred of integrity and actually put Country First and replaced her, he'd be destroyed politically.
03:03 PM on 09/28/2008
He is too arrogant to admit he made a mistake. He even praised her during the debate, one day after that mumble jumbo interview with Katie Couric.
03:02 PM on 09/28/2008
Lady De Rothschild must be hiding right now. They should all come out and CONTINUE praising Mc Cain for his VP pick; and they better keep a straight face too.

why can't we all just get along?

This woman is such a tool for Cheney and Rove, a blank ultra conservative slate, that should McCain pass away, they'd have a new puppet to control, and surprise!!!!, still be in charge. You can't get mad at the puppet, just beware.

I cannot believe that she is so young and has developed some extreme views.... i guess she thought someone in a diner wouldn't really count when she answered. She is so not ready for prime time..

The young are often those who suffer extreme views when they are raised by people with extreme views. I am amazed that she reached this age and hasn't gained the good sense to give up on that rubbish!
