The Most Stupidest McCain Ad Ever?

John McCain is running a new campaign ad that actually attacks Barack Obama for agreeing with John McCain. This has to be the first time in history that a candidate ever went negative on his opponent for being too agreeable.

If the ad had a lighthearted, funny tone I think it could work. But instead, it is angry and sneering, just like John McCain.

Aside from the tone, the ad's problem is that it reinforces Obama's message that he is willing to work across party lines. Why in the world would a campaign put up an ad that says that the opposing candidate only cares about doing the right thing, not about winning the political battle.

Basically, McCain is accusing Obama of being a decent guy.

Moreover, everybody knows that Barack Obama has serious disagreements with John McCain, starting with Iraq -- where John McCain was unequivocally wrong:

Huh? I guess the point is supposed to be that Obama is following McCain's lead, but it's a big stretch. Mostly, it just makes him look like he's calm and intelligent. If this is the best they can do, McCain's finished.

As an European i can only say 2 things about the debate.

1st is that Obama is no nice, McCain give him many free shoots where he could have hit him badly, but it may be what USA need a man that show respect to the ppl he negotate with. Obama was a calm gentleman.

2nd is McCain has tan arrogant smirk and patronize his opponent all the time, and those skills will he not come far with when he negotiate or debate with foreing leaders. McCain was a smart talking arrogant bully and i know 85% of the Swedes are tired of that type of leaders from USA.

I truthfully belive Obama may need to take of some of his silk gloves but in overall is alot better choice because his temper, compasion and intelligence is way over McCain.

I said once i should not tell americans who they should vote on but i have now giving a hint on who around 85% of sweden wants to win the election.

I was so disturbed that McCain couldn't even bring himself to look at Obama. What a horrible thing, to not even show respect to an opponent. That hostility came through in his behavior and his body language. Obama was being respectful of him - why couldn't McCain afford him the same courtesy?

Day after day, McCain proves himself unable to man this country. If he's treating his opponent like this, he will not listen to the needs of the country. He will not listen to the needs or wants of other countries. If people don't fit into his plan, he'll just turn his head and behave like a spoiled child. We need to obtain our allies back and create stronger ties. McCain's plans would just antagonize world leaders and the only thing that McCain would do is start another war.

This man cannot be trusted and must be stopped.
