Here is what makes me really upset and concerned:
1) McCain, by choosing Sarah Palin, has shown his "view" of women. If he wanted to pick a woman, there were many qualified woman in his party who could be better representative of American women. Why choose someone who can't even form a complete sentence?
2) Given that any VP is the second in command - there is a chance that Sarah Palin could become our president - the same way that Joe Biden could become president. And here is a bigger problem.; how irresponsible of McCain to trust the faith of the country – you could argue the world - to someone who can't even answer a question without being nonsensical.

It is very sad that the way this women is being portrayed as such by the media blogs.
The fact is among all the four she is the only one with any leadership experience. It does not matter how many people live in Alaska. With her being a Governor of a State, she is more than qualified for a VP If the dumb debate held Friday is a measurement standard for a would be president, I am sorry this lady's experience, more than qualifies her to be a President. It does not matter she passes Katie or Charlie's Jeopardy. If elected she will have an army of White House Associates to assist her as a VP. We are giving too much importance to her rather than McCain and Obama.
Are you serious? This lady was Sports Anchor/ Moose Hunter before winning a popularity contest in her hometown that put her into politics. Beyond that if you watch these interviews you can tell she's stone stupid and doesn't know anything about what's going on.
Let me ask you this. If had to just find a VP to train for the position and let advisors handle the dirty work... Why on earth would start with her? They couldn't find a smarter puppet than that? Hell I could cram for an interview better than she does.
Tell me how she's more qualified than a President of the Harvard Law review.
I'd like to think that our next vice president would at least be possess some basic, semi-presidential qualities.

Man, everytime I watch Plain's video, I laugh. The Tina Fey impersonation was very good. But as far as humor goes, Palin gets the prize. There is not one moment of that vid that does not crack me up

What's funny/sad is that Tina Fey's skit used Palin's own words; comic writers not needed with this pair. Their own words are totally comically inchoherent. If this were a banana republic's pair of candidates we'd be rolling in the aisles, including Republicans. It's sad to think of the millions who will vote for this comedy team posing as serious policians.
So far I've heard indirectly of two women who say they identify with Palin's life story. I wouldn't be ashamed to admit that myself.
