MSNBC's Keith Olbermann named -- gasp -- Sen. Barack Obama one of the "Worst Persons In The World" on Monday's show.

Why? You'll have to watch the video below (but you'll probably agree with Keith, especially if you're Michelle Obama):

Fox News has higher ratings because they are the only game in town if you are a conservative wanting to hear only your type of news being spoon fed to you. On the other hand you have a multitude of other choices if you don't. MSNBC does have some pretty left leaning shows but look at David Gregory - didn't he break dance with Karl Rove? Morning Joe features a Republican former congressman from my state. BTW...he makes my skin crawl. Olbermann and Maddow are liberals for sure... but they will still call out a Democrat when necessary.

There are shows for everyone if you look around at most news channels but Fox has nothing but right wing babble. It's run by Roger Ailes for pity's sake...a long time Republican operative. Ailes even worked for Richard "I am not a crook" Nixon. Is anyone surprised that virtually all conservatives are so loyal to that channel? It's the only safe place for them to get their news so they aren't bothered by that unnecessary 'reality' thing.

Brit Hume and Chris Wallace are the fairest reporters on TV - and both are on Fox. I've seen both tear up Dems and Republicans alike. You have to know which show you are watching or you may be fooled - the "morning zoo" shows and shows like Hannity and Colmes have commentators, not straight reporters.

But channels like MSNBC are so in the tank that they may as well re-label the channel MS-OBAMA. It is so blatent, I mean, they demoted Keith Olmermann and Chris Matthews because of their completely biased reporting.

I wouldn't call Hume and Wallace the fairest but definitely not a clown like Hannity and BillO. You should remember that if they leave FOX for any reasons, they want to be able to find job somewhere else. So they are trying to be bit rational at the same time appeasing their current boss Murdock with right wing rhetoric.

The deal is that the Republicans have a brand (strangle government, reduce taxes and regulations, family values (specially the authoritarian type) and CORPORATIONS RULE...

Did you hear all of Palin's mantras? she hits the Repug talking points to a T and all in all seemed more comfortable on stage than McCain....McCain looks that he is having a fit even debating with "one of those people, (even if he is cocoa)"....

The Rolling Stones article on McCain is fabulous, specially about the 5 flying accidents...It is a miracle McCain is still alive. The article also highlites all of the nepotism in the Navy as well as his extensive links to LOBBIESTS.... I want to know if he is paying any of them and if any of them are still getting money from their RIGHT WING tax free Foundations...

Hopefully Obama can count larger, financial numbers, more than he can years of marriage.

That was a cute moment on Countdown. I did not like Keith Olbermann all that much before (http://cnbcsucks.wordpress.com/2008/06/07/cnbc-and-msnbc/) , but I sure do like him now!

Did olberman really just accuse hannity of bias? Did he really just rebuke Rove for giving credit to palin for her speaches, which she "simply read from a teleprompter"

This is the same olbermann who said, and I paraphrase, we should all be proud that our country can produce men and speakers like that, referring to a fancy speach that Obama gave (or rather read from a teleprompter).

Hypocracy anyone?
11:36 PM on 10/02/2008
Referring to how someone "speaks" is quite different from talking about how someone "reads prepared scripts." When talking about how someone "speaks" you are typically talking about the power or lack thereof that comes through from their speech, or about their dialect, rhythm, tone, and clarity. In other words, talking about how someone "speaks" is not referring at all to content.

And really... are you prepared to defend Hannity against accusations of bias?

so funny! I love the comments on Karl "Palin was overprepared" Rove. This is the ultimate in "1984"-ish newspeak. As if people will believe him because he said it. It's incredible that if someone says something with confidence and even indignation that many people will believe it. Is it that difficult to believe that someone would lie to advance his/her own interests? Happens all the time...unfortunately.

Keith, if you're considering Obama's number mistake as an example of the worst people, then your long list must be very short.

Keith has a crushie on Michelle Obama. It's cute that he is defending her even if it's against her own husband.

If men figuring out anniversaries is given an allowance, like airlines with their "on time" records, he was close to right. In guy knowledge, you'd give him a pass. Now if he forgot a big one (like 20 or 25), he'd be in trouble.

I thought this pretty funny tho.

Rove is one of the ugliest persons ever -- especially in that photo. He must have a portrait of himself at home like Dorian Gray -- except the portrait is still beautiful.

ZeroBermann has about 1/10 the audience of Fox. Nobody watches him because he's a Zero!

Doh! That was clever! Now go back to prepping for tonight's debate, Sarah...
