I really think Oberman was kidding. I'm fairly sure there's not a married man alive who has not made one mistake relating to their marriage, remembering dates or whatever...and let's keep in mind, Obama is in a different time zone daily, different locations daily.

And, at least he knows when the war started, and the difference between Suni and Shite. A teensy weensy bit more important in a president. You know the little details about what two factions of muslims hate each other when you are trying to restore peace in a country that you destroyed.

I have a bit of sympathy for Obama on this. Years ago, my young wife suddenly stopped speaking
to me, I asked what was wrong, and was not enlightened. The following day I did a little shopping
at noon, and noticed that Valentine candy was on sale at 50% off. I promptly purchased a heart
shaped box of chocolates and was ultimately forgiven. I had assumed that Valentines day was
for kids, and had not realized the effectiveness of Hallmark's efforts over the years.
