I should know. I've debated Governor Palin more than two dozen times. And she's a master, not of facts, figures, or insightful policy recommendations, but at the fine art of the nonanswer, the glittering generality. Against such charms there is little Senator Biden, or anyone, can do.

I think the issues are a little too drastic for people to really care about how she can fill a room or fishing right or how pretty she looks. This is not a game if she cant state issues and state how she gone help bring America out of this mess she might as well help McBush dig his whole. Cause if he choices to throw her off the ticket at this point it shows his judgement is lacking.

Wow..that article was just amazing. Knowing that she evaded the questions as she did but still won is very scary. I can only pray that the public will see thru this as they did McCain during his debate with Obama.

Maybe journalists will do their jobs, and pick apart her non-answers.

Biden does not have to show her deference as some are suggesting. He just needs to treat her like an equal (which she is not).

whatever! it may have worked in the past but these times call for substance and know how to meet the challenges we face today. the talking heads in the media tried to spin McCain's loss against Obama and the results are now in Obama leads in all the polls the people voices will be heard this time.

Indeed, I totally agree. However, don't underestimate the number of hoople-heads out there in TV-land who think she's the bee's-knees. They will lap up her bloviations with the same zeal that they bought W's charm in the last two elections.

Very interesting... and from her interviews... I'd say you are right. I do think that the American people are going to be looking out for style v. substance... and while I'd like to say they'd choose substance over style.... I'm not that naive.

I couldn't agree more. What percentage of the voting public watch cable news, and really know the issues? They will eat her pablum up with a big ol' spoon and think she is amazing. People have already made up their minds and she could stand there and recite 'mary had a little lamb' and the repubs would praise her for it.

Palin is full of misinformation. Biden will be tied in knots trying to correct her crazy statements. Unless he cuts to the chase and just callls her a liar, he will not have time to answer any questions.
