Truly, this is not an occassion for levity. It is also an occassion not to be denied. Aside from his political positions that in and of themselves make him unacceptable to me, the questions regarding his physical condition that he chooses not to answer make him unacceptable as President of the United States. God bless him and may he continue to have fruitful years in the Senate.

This wouldn't have happened if Obama had agreed to the "town hall" style debates.

Rachel Weiner - I really think you can come up with better news than this crapshoot...what is this? He got confused which way to go...how many time have you seen actors that are young during the Emmy's or Golden Globe, etc, make their way in the wrong direction...this is not a story, it is hypocrisy bull similar to FOX News garbage.

Let me help you talk about important issue than this idiotic post.

Obama and McCain Tax Proposals According to a new analysis by the Tax Policy Center, a joint project of the Urban Institute and the Brookings Institution,

* If you make between $66,355 - $111,654 you will get a tax break of $1,009 under McCain and a tax break of $1,290 under Obama.
* If you make between $37,596 - $66,354 you will get a tax break of $319 under McCain and a tax break of $1,042 under Obama.
* If you make between $18,982 - $37,595 you will get a tax break of $113 under McCain and a tax break of $892 under Obama.
* If you make up to $18, 981 you will get a tax break of $19 under McCain and a tax break of $567 under Obama.
* Now if you make 3 million a year McCain gives you the biggest tax break of all. 4.4%. ($66,000 only gets a 0.7 tax break under mccain.)
* If you make 3 million a year Obama is going to raise your taxes to what they were

That's true and a really fine post, however mental decline is an important issue also...remember Regan running the white house with dementia?

This would make a great campaign ad for Obama. McCain committing at first to going in one direction, then another, then back again. Kind of like the bailout

If anyone had doubts that he's showing signs of Alzheimer's, I think this video might prove it.

Here are some more themes of his economic plan

Sad to hear him debate himself.

The alarms (and laughter) are not being sounded because of the good gentleman from Arizona's age.

The concern is that there appears to be very real mounting evidence that he may have a serious medical problem apart from issues relating to aging and that there may be an attempt to keep this information from the American public.

This is very serious and worthy of discussion.

Normally, I would agree if it were not for the fact that this 72 year old man is running for president. If he's showing signs of a medical condition, that IS relevant to any American thinking about voting for him.

Mental decline in a President is serious.

Let's be fair and think of USA future, leave the old man alone and let us decide, what is the real
solution to our current problem.

McCain is headed to sundown and we need a fresh start and change the course for the sake of
the next generation.

It appears to me to be a partial focal seizue described in layman's terms here:

http://www.righthealth.com/Health/Partial_Focal_Seizure/-od-definition_adam_1%25252F0006971-s

My grandfather had ptosis of one lid after being hit in the head by a rock. The facial nerve was damaged, possibly severed. He had a crutch on his glasses to prop the lid up. He never had any muscular contractions that he could not control, ... quite the reverse.

In contrast to that, McCain's left side facial muscles appear to go into an involuntary contraction, possible sign of a seizure. Then when he concludes his speech, ... he appears dazed and confused, which might be "post-ictal" or post-seizure related in nature.

The man needs a CT Scan and an EEG to be performed immediately to rule these out. The results need to be made public! If this is a sezure, it is an ominous occurrence given the man's history and age.
