Fox News Wednesday launched a channel on YouTube dedicated to politics and the presidential election, making it the first cable news network to have an election-focused presence on the video-sharing site.
The channel, titled "America's Election HQ," will be updated daily with content from Fox News Channel as well as content from FOXNews.com's "Strategy Room," a live political talk show streamed on the web.

FOX News Channel Launches "America's Election HQ" YouTube CHANNEL DEDICATED EXCLUSIVELY TO POLITICS AND THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
FOX News Channel (FNC) will launch a dedicated election channel on YouTube Wednesday, October 1st, announced Joel Cheatwood, the network's Senior Vice President for Development. The YouTube channel known as "America's Election HQ" (www.youtube.com/foxnewselectionhq) will feature the latest breaking political news, candidate interviews, polls and in-depth analysis of campaign issues. FNC is the only cable news network with a YouTube channel providing content focused exclusively on the last 30 days of the presidential election season.
The channel will showcase videos with FNC anchors including: Brit Hume, Chris Wallace, Shepard Smith, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Alan Colmes and Greta Van Susteren. The site will also include reports from producers embedded with the presidential campaigns, as well as content from the FOXNews.com's "Strategy Room," the only live political talk show streamed weekdays on the Web from 9AM to 6PM ET.
In making the announcement, Cheatwood said, "Our partnership with YouTube creates a remarkable opportunity to expand our reach by engaging a new audience and providing another platform on which FOX News fans can access compelling content as we enter the final weeks of this historic presidential election season."
"America's Election HQ" visitors will be able to rate, share, comment on and search for video clips of their favorite programs, anchors and election topics. FNC is responsible for advertising sales for the channel, which will be promoted on-air and at FOXNews.com.
Additional network-branded YouTube channels to be unveiled in coming weeks include "FOX Business Network" and "FOX News Channel," which will highlight top news stories on the economy, business, personal finance, politics, health and entertainment, respectively.
