Frank Demolishes O'Reilly: "Your Stupidity Gets In The Way Of Rational Discussion"

Barney Frank just demolished Falafel Bill O'Reilly on "The Factor."

It was a thing of beauty from the start, and peaked when Frank told O'Reilly that O'Reilly's "stupidity gets in the way of rational discussion." Frank even used the L-word, telling O'Reilly that he was "lying."

O'Reilly had invited Frank on the show to sandbag him, but in the end, Frank thoroughly ruined O'Reilly's plans. Here's video:

I like Barney Frank, but it didn't seem to me that he demolished O'Reilly. O'Reilly clearly seemed to have the upper hand and his insults and point of view, I believe will stick and people will listen to his take on the situation, like it or not.

That is the biggest a hole - he needs to be fired - that is just wrong. Poor Barney. But why do they keep letting Barney represent them ? He seems like a nice man but his speech comes across as if something is wrong with him - let Charles Schumer come in and fight with that clown o reilly.

Bill O'Reilly understands that if he can intimidate and get on the defensive his guest/victim, he wins. To Barney Frank's credit he didn't get intimidated. He did however get defensive making himself look guilty. Rather than go on the defensive a better strategy would be to go on the attack. There is no reason to answer O'Reilly's questions when O'Reilly isn't really looking for an answer. Let O'Reilly have his tantrums and then demand he apologize to the American people for his years of lies and deceit. Better yet, don't grant him interviews until he gets a shred of decency. Why legitimize the clownish antics of a bully like O'Reilly?

I disagree. I saw the interview. Barney never admitted his role in this economic disaster---heck, he placed blame on everybody but himself.

However, O'Reilly is perpetrating a fraud. He says he is an independent, but is always on board with the Bush policies---name it, O'Reilly is for it.

Feel free to disagree with me, but never ever let others do the thinking for you. No second-hand "reports" when you can view the evidence first hand.

The way Oreally spoke was really telling. He had no respect, nor class. He acted like a guttersnipe.
His parents must have forgotten to teach him how to act like a gentleman. I wish he would spew like this at Bush and Cheney. He just is not a professional. It is a shame that Faux News like these kinds of people of their shows. It just seems to focus on how low their standards are.
