Barney Frank just demolished Falafel Bill O'Reilly on "The Factor."
It was a thing of beauty from the start, and peaked when Frank told O'Reilly that O'Reilly's "stupidity gets in the way of rational discussion." Frank even used the L-word, telling O'Reilly that he was "lying."
O'Reilly had invited Frank on the show to sandbag him, but in the end, Frank thoroughly ruined O'Reilly's plans. Here's video:

I LOVE Barney - I feel so bad that he couldn't even get a word in edge-wise.
BillbO'liely is a big man w/ a small pe*n*is - why else would he feel he has to be the big, tough guy in everything that he does.
He has serious anger issues that should really be worked out in the privacy of a therapist's office and not on the public airwaves for easily manipulated people to listen to his ranting.
Bill O'Reilly is the only coward I see in this interview. He does this all the time. Like the bratty kid plugging his ears yelling "la la la la la" during an argument, then cuts-off the guest before they can get a word in. If I were asked to be on his pathetic show, I'd bring a megaphone and just make random noises into it until he booted me. Maybe push the alarm buttons. lol...

I agree with you wholeheartedly in all respects to your comment. O'Reilly is after ratings at this point and he probably got it. Look how the media is talking about it and how many people are commenting on it as well. I can't stand the man, he should have been fired a long time ago when he sexually harassed his co-worked and paid his way out of prosecution.
We need new eyes looking over the books and looking over how things were ran into the ground. McSame is just a continuation of the hiding process. We need transparancey and we won't get that with him, I guarantee it. If he can stand in front of the nation and out and out lie to the American people proves that it will be more of the same. I had some respect for Palin, but; that clearly faded when she started spewing a continuation of McSames lies. How she can look at herself and her kids knowing she is lying for this character she only met just before he chose her as a running mate.
How can anyone vote to put that kind of harm back into office.

The problem with Bill and other republicans is that they can not lose. The Gods have smiled on them and they have white, sorry, right privilege. This bailout has already made millions of them millionaires over again, since Bush signed it into law. With the up tick of the stock market, the guys in the boiler rooms grew more arrogant in their new wealth.
Bush has given the best fair well gift to all of the young white republicans. Millionaire status in a very uncertain world with a severely crippled dollar left for the rest of us to try and exist on.

LOL!!! I have never seen such blatant disrespect for a congressman or woman! I totally despise the right wing talking heads. There ought to be an FCC rule that if a station broadcasts any of the right wing shows they HAVE to give equal time to Air America. Perhaps after Obama takes the oath in January We can finally somehow reign in these right wing idiots. In the mean time there is a way that we the people can. Given the economy in the tank and many corps losing money because people are not spending how long do you think the sponsors of these shows will keep spending ad dollars if they are getting no return and millions of letters telling them that if they are going to support blatant disrespect for members of congress then you will not buy their products and will tell your friend & relatives not to buy them either and why.

O'really has good ratings for the same reason that the World Wrestling Federation and Jerry Springer have good ratings. There's an "underbelly" of loud, disrespectful, angry, and yes, very bitter people who like watching this kind of stuff. It's very sad. The Repubs know this and they play to it. They are the same bitter people who liked Palin's nasty speech at the convention. I hope that we're finally getting to a place in this country when more level heads will prevail. Barney did a good job by attempting to stay calm in the face of O'really's bizarre, but characteristic tirade.
O'really needs professional help. I'm serious.
What a complete a*hole. I just don't understand what people find in Fox. I do know, however, that this is backfiring on them just as surely as McPalin's negativity has backfired on them. I used to listen pretty regularly to Hannity, partly as recon to hear what the other side was saying, partly because I like to listen to other views - never know, I could be wrong. Starting about three years ago, I can't stand to do it. Can't stomach even a minute. I turn it off or change channels or stations.
Thing is, I'm not alone. As early as '04, Fox ratings dominated on political coverage. But this year, CNN pulled 300% more viewers and MSNBC also beat Fox, not by as much but it's getting more every week. And Fox didn't just go all in in the repubs, it chose sides even within that, staking its future on Giuliani who never pulled more than 2%. I believe in Karma. That may not be real. But ratings are. And Fox is being rightly punished.
